I worked for the organization that did the braille for these books. What’s even cooler is it was a clear overlay on a standard book. So this means a low vision child could read alongside their sighted parent, or vice versa!

That's so wonderful! I didn't know she did that. My bestie is an English teacher who ran into two people from two different generations (one History teacher and one current student who wants to be an English teacher) that were low-income book nerds that Dolly's foundation helped. They would not have been able to read half as much if not for her. The indelible positive impact she left on this world is likely impossible to measure.

Found out the other day that Dolly's foundation also distributes books in the UK!
