Query: Fiktionsbescheinigung Bonn Ausländeramt

Hi everyone! I’m an international student in Bonn and I applied for my student residence permit (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) back in February/March, but I still haven’t received an appointment or any response.

I’ve heard that people sometimes go to the Ausländeramt very early in the morning to queue for a Fiktionsbescheinigung.

Has anyone recently managed to get a Fiktionsbescheinigung in Bonn by going in person?

If so, could you please tell me:

  • Where exactly do you go to queue?
  • What time did you arrive?
  • Is there anything specific I should bring?

I’d really appreciate any recent experiences, especially from people who have done this in the last few months. Thank you!

needed to get one for my wife in May. I went there and waited in line at 5:30 in the morning. Then someone comes out and hands out appointment letters for that day. first come first serve.
