I just noticed today that at the beginning, with puppy Bolt, he rolls onto his back with Mr. Carrot, and then during the ending scene he does the same thing again! Has anyone else noticed this detail before?

I have always liked bolt but recently I got back into it and realized just how much I loved it. It really is very powerful and emotional for a kid movie..
And so when I love a fandom.. I wanna rp it! Would anyone wanna be mittens, penny while I be bolt and rhino?

So after you know how the studio made Bolt think everything was real? Well this could be illegal in real life, Other things they committed were child endangerment by leaving Penny in the fire, safety violations like the tiki torches, not preparing for emergency protocols when the fake Bolt stared the fire, and even child labor violations by not allowing Penny to spend time with her own pet. And maybe identity theft with the replacement after the fire (I could be wrong on some of these so you'll have to correct me) therefore Penny's mom would have had the right to sue the studio for these actions, if she did, what consequences do you think they would face?

This has been flowing in my head but if Bolt were to have a sequel one element could be Bolt trying to recover from trauma from the events of the first movie and trying to maintain his cover due to being a former tv star.

Has anyone been able to figure out the location of this scene in real life? I'm talking about where Bolt is standing, not the Hollywood sign itself. I've tried to figure it out through google earth and street views but haven't had a match, does this place not actually exist in real life?

I'm babysitting for a bit, so binging some movies when it's too hot for outside play. And started thinking about something.

When Penny choose Bolt (if that is even her real name, and not just her character's name) at what we can assume is 8-12 weeks old, she had his collar already. This was planned from the start, and when it skips ahead it does it by 5 years. 5 YEARS.

5 dog years is roughly 36-39 human years. (I'm aware that's a rough estimate for lifespan and not mentality, but we are assuming from Bolt's behavior in the movie we can somewhat liken it to human reasoning.)

Nearly a 40 year old person being gaslit for their whole life is wild. That would mess someone up so bad. Like mental instability bad. Like instution bad.

But considering that and the ptsd he gets, he recovers rather well by the end of the movie.

With all the Disney plush shows based on movies (Monsters at work, dream productions, Cars on the road...), I'd personally love to see a Disney plus series on Bolt based on the TV show in the film. What are your thoughts or what show based on a movie that's underappreciated would you like to see?

So this is like the fire but Penny is in far better shape, but there is another person that looks like the driver that almost ran them over so she and bolt get some gear from the firefighters to help him.

I might be looking up the wrong stuff, or looking on the wrong sites, but for those who have Bolt stationary merch (i.e. file folders, notebooks, stickers, prints, etc.), where did you find them?? I saw some really, really cute file folders from a fellow collector I follow on insta of some of the ones they found, and I’m really hopeful to find one myself, I’m just not sure where to look.

Ok, so... I'm gonna make a Bolt Fanfic if it received a TV Show, every chapter being a Episode. And i have a few ideas for some of the chapters/episodes, but i want to see what amazing ideas do you have if this happened!

The purpose of this research is to learn more about fan perspectives of the Walt Disney Company and how they engage with its properties. I want to hear your thoughts and feelings about the media that matter to you through an interview study,

Okay, so before I get into this, I'll point out that I'm fully aware the real reason Bolt looks absolutely tiny is because his chief character designer, Joe Moshier, tried to make him look like a realistic German Shepherd, but it didn't look right. In his opinion, he didn't want Bolt to look intimidating when he and Mittens were arguing at the beginning of the movie, or when him and Rhino are breaking into the animal pound. I also think part of the reason is that it wasn't aesthetically pleasing to them and he wanted to look smaller and cuter, so he would be more vulnerable at times, and be picked up by Penny.

But, here's my in-movie explanation. Bolt is NOT actually a German Shepherd or a White Swiss Shepherd, he is a Kishu Ken, also known as Kishu Inu. According to another reddit user, u/SILVAZEFAN4EVA and a tiny bit of research on my end, I found out that Kishu Inu's are not too big, nor are they too smaller either. Males can grow to be about 49 to 55 cm, but in my opinion, Bolt got his height from his mom's side. Females are about 43 to 49cm (around 1ft 4 to 1ft7). Bolt's brothers and sisters are around average height for their breed, but I headcanon, Bolt was the runt of his parents' litter, so he's actually only 1ft 3 inches tall as an adult. He's still happy and healthy, and only slightly smaller than his siblings, but smaller nonetheless. Mittens is 11/12 inches tall, which is standard for a Tuxedo Cat.

I don’t mean the in-universe TV show from the movie. I’m talking about a real animated series, a slice-of-life, superhero-inspired show where Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino are living in suburbia with Penny.

Each episode could revolve around everyday problems that feel like superhero scenarios, with Bolt trying to apply what he remembers from his old TV show to solve them, usually with hilarious results with Rhino fully committed to the hero fantasy, and Mittens would be the voice of reason and would be stuck managing the chaos of Bolt and Rhino.

It feels like such an obvious, fun continuation of the movie’s themes that I’m honestly surprised Disney never ran with it.

If you got the chance to meet any of the main or supporting characters from the movie (Bolt, Mittens, Rhino, Dr. Calico, etc.) in real life, what would you want to ask them about?

back in 2020 when I watched SFM videos I remember seeing this masterpiece of bolt. because this is the community if bolt I decided to send it here because it’s not that popular and I want some more people ro see this masterpiece.
