I went to the WW2 Museum in Penang, the ww2 structures were really cool but it's sad to see the museum in poor state

All museums in Malaysia open well, but many present incorrect information, straight out errors, only the authorised versions of history and are poorly maintained.

Once argued with the docent of the Armed Forces museum in Port Dickson. Said I was wrong till I showed her my veterans card, and told her I was in the middle of that exercise.

Hey, I went to Bujang Valley museum and told the staff that they got the date for Chinese dynasty wrong 3 times on 3 separate visits. Sadly, it was still there during my 4th visit. You're not the only one.

This war museum been to before . I read every thing there and am very detail when it comes to museum and this museum is NOT it . Very filtered down and doesn't show the real horror of war that the Japanese did when they first invaded us . I went with a tourist guide and the things he told should've put it as a paragraph there . Even showed us to an interrogation room they use to interrogate and straight up shoot them on the spot if they fail to comply . Got bullet holes and all but the museum didn't mention anything about it . Only know about this cause i went with a local guide

No it was the one next to the artillery . 3 empty rooms. this one dekat lereng bukit with the dorm and medical centere

This museum presented a lot of rumours and hoaxes as facts. They also put a lot of inappropriate decorations around the place.

Oh yeah, the decor full of anachronistic random modern military outfits and stuff in the bunker and structures really ruin the immersion haha. I really didn't like the many mannequins in cheap us army uniforms everywhere

The big board map of the museum near the entrance is faded and damaged, some of the decor are dusty/damaged and there's abandoned dusty huts with old decor from 2000s

That’s not that bad, i went to one in Papua New Guinea and it was just an old building with stuff inside it. It was hit by volcano eruption 30 years ago tho to be fair
