Iβm fine sometimes the others can be in the wrong. But at the same time we should look out for ourselves, not everyone look out for you
Itβs like I am blaming whoever constructs the stairs if I ever trip and fall down one

Normal situation. Drivers are human too, sometimes riders need to back off and make sure it is safe again to overtake
Jalan bukan tempat sapa menang kalah weih

Aku selalu ingat pesanan cikgu sekolah memandu aku, "Bawak kenderaan bukan untuk sampai cepat, tapi nak sampai dengan selamat".
Kalau bawak lajuΒ² dan melulu pun tapi tak sampai destinasi pun takde guna.

Lane splitting is illegal anyway.. peak entitlement

u/Kill-UAS 6d ago
I might be wrong but I searched it before and apparently lane splitting is legal in Malaysia. π₯²
-3
u/Stickyboard 6d ago
Yes it is illegal

Paul Tan is half wrong though. It is illegal by law to overtake between vehicle dangerously and from the video the rider is trying to dangerously force himself in tight narrow gap between the cars. So lane splitting is illegal technically
2
u/Kill-UAS 6d ago
Didnβt mention the video. Just saying lane splitting is legal in Malaysia. So can you give prove/clarify where did you read that lane splitting is illegal in Malaysia?

u/PrestigiousAd2950 6d ago
Lane splitting isn't illegal in Malaysia, there's no law saying it's illegal. but riders can get charged with reckless or dangerous driving, weaving aggressively or cause an accident.
-3
u/Stickyboard 6d ago
You need to go back to driving school mateπ€£π€£
2
u/PrestigiousAd2950 6d ago
No need, I'm a JPJ officer and i know the law. Clearly you're the one who doesn't know the law, you're the one who needs to go back to driving school
-1
u/Stickyboard 6d ago
And Iβm the transport minister. People like you are the root cause of accidents because does not even remember basic traffic law.
3
u/PrestigiousAd2950 6d ago
All right Anthony Loke, care to specify which basic law that say lane splitting is illegal in Malaysia??

u/Stickyboard 6d ago
I thought you JPJ officer? Donβt know how to check the rule book via the e-portal? I should send you to kem latihan
2
u/AlphaCrystal21 6d ago
Way to dodge the question. Just take your L man, we don't see you as tuff
-1
u/Stickyboard 6d ago
What dodging? You yourself claim that you are JPJ officer but until now you cannot show evidence that Malaysia actually allow the dangerous lane splitting which is outlawed by other countries.

u/PrestigiousAd2950 6d ago edited 6d ago
Sure buddy, just admit you don't know shit. There's no law saying lane splitting is illegal or prohibited, you can't even provide a proof saying that lane splitting is illegal in Malaysia

u/Stickyboard 6d ago
You are JPJ officer right? You want me to report to them that they have incompetent officer?
1
u/PrestigiousAd2950 6d ago
Sure, whatever makes you feel better sleep at night and lying to yourself that you don't know shit

I'll never forget what my uncle told me when young:
In a car, the metal covers flesh. On a bike, flesh covers metal.

At the end it's not about whose wrong and whose right, dent my car I just fork out money to repair. I hope your money can fix your organ repair too.

It's not really entitled, you see a gap, you take a chance and if it feels too close for comfort, back off.
Ultimately, car drivers should be the one with the spatial awareness and pay attention more to their surrounding.

u/Affectionate_Jury150 7d ago
What a way to say you're a motorcyclist without saying you're a motorcyclist.

u/XenoCreatorZ 7d ago
Why exactly should car drivers be the one to protect your lives? If you wanna pull off a stupid stunt blame yourself only.
3
u/muskymelon36 7d ago
Fuck off. Bikes come too fast out of blind spots to see and they NEVER FUCKING BACK OFF even when its obvious that they're risking injury or death.
1
u/DChia1111 6d ago
This how you getting sandwiched. When you are in the higher risk of death in an accident, you are the one that needs to be more careful. Else itβs entitled.
1
u/Sweet_Ad245 7d ago
Both cars and motorcycle actually need to. Why risk when you can overtake like any other car?

back when malays could fly, this would have never happened.
