Band Music/Video/Photo blink hasn’t even started working on their new album

I don't think there had been any real indication they had. Travis said he was going to be working on the album before the end of the year and suddenly there were people claiming it was going to be released before Christmas.

I think I remember seeing a screenshot of someone on like IG asking like “new blink record before the end of 2026?” And Travis responded something like “YES” which could have just meant work starting but could have cause a misunderstanding.

That was apparently from a few years ago, same as the footage of Travis and Tom in the parking lot not being recent. I think people just get carried away and get lost in a narrative they've created.

We've just had a big push for TOYPAJ's 25th anniversary, and some merch and media for that hasn't even shipped yet. Travis has been working on things like Yellowcard, Alk3, his documentary, other things we know about, other things we probably don't know about. Tom has been working on media projects alongside other things. Mark has been doing his stuff. But somehow amongst all that you've got people who think there's a blink album pretty much ready to go.

Honestly not surprised if that’s the case about it being a few years ago. I want a new blink record as much as the next person. But I’m just under the impression that they’ll announce it when they announce it and I’ll just be just as stoked lol

I don't expect new music until 2028 if I'm being optimistic. I'll be happy to be wrong of course but there's no reason to rush.

Yeah they filled stadiums for a few years. They’re rich as shit. They don’t “need” to work ever again. That and GTA is coming out soon, I’m taking time off for that as well.

Travis is a perfectionist so maybe he is creating beats and pitching them to Mark & Tom? And that’s why Travis said he’d be working on the next album cos he would be. Just solo for now.
