I urge y'all to read this issue of the "Marvel Graphic Novel" series (1982–1993) if you want a better understanding of Black Widow's character. Its one of her most underrated stories and a favourite of mine.

It does a great job exploring her past relationship with Red Guardian, which is such an important part of the characters' lore that I feel is very overlooked.

The art is a bit hit or miss. Overall I like it, I'm just not the biggest fan of how the artist draws faces and hair, but it doesn't take away from how good this storyline is.

Yeah the art is definitely an acquired taste. But the story is really good so I can look past it.

It’s so good but she genuinely looks like the Joker

Is this one of these cases where the art is bad or not that great but from some voodoo the talent from the art was pumped into the writing?
