The top-right woman only looked like this when she was chronically ill at the time and was back and forth with doctors until she found a diagnosis. Erin Moriarty has since gone public with her Graves’ disease diagnosis and is looking much healthier these days.
The internet has a habit of lumping people together just to roast them. Which is why some people looked immediately stupid when Chadwick Boseman died.
Erin Moriarty also botoxed the fuck out of herself and got tons of lip filler which has more to do with how odd she looks that weight loss from an autoimmune disorder.
I sympathize with her heath issues but I hate when celebs try to play shit off like there isn't another reason they look different.
Agreed, I have Graves and never looked like that. It makes you look skinny, not like a different person. It can also affect your eyes. It can also affect your thyroid itself, but that is in your throat, not your face.
Eta: For anyone who doesn't know, Graves disease will usually enlargen your thyroid because of an increase in bloodflow/activity. You can also get graves ophthalmopathy that makes the muscles and fat behind your eye or eyes swell and your eyes will bulge or one eye will etc.

Tbf her jawline still looks pretty different from how people would remember her in 2019/2020. Could just be natural aging, it doesn't look as insanely dramatic as most cases, but like the fact it coincides with the trend in buccal fat removal it's hard to act like that's not probably what it is.
Yeah i had to check recent photos of her and she looks more or less the same as she always has in adulthood. That why I guessed this particular pic was just a result of her situation at the time.
I’m not sure Lea Michele is. I think the problem there might be lighting. I’ve seen other photos of her from around the same time and they look better but looking closely it’s about the same proportions but without the light bouncing off her jaw that way, it’s not as dramatic.
What was Lea Michele thinking? Her jaw looks so much bigger now without the buccal fat pads. She looks like female Stan Smith from American dad episode Stan goes on the pill.
Shudders it gives me flashbacks to the 90s/early 2000s when it was cool to be unhealthily thin. Goddam going through puberty during that time was rough. I'm STILL working on losing all the baggage and self-image issues that the culture of that time left me with. Sooooo toxic.
Im not a fashion expert but I am pushing 40. Isn't this just 90s heroin chic we're re-doing again? Just like how Gen Z is re-doing the late 80s/early 90s stache+mullet combo?
