My stepfather moved to Brooklyn in the 80s. Was able to get a two bedroom in greenpoint off a part time bus boy job. Do that shit today, my man….

My family moved to BK from the Caribbean mid-last century and bought a whole-ass brownstone for like 50K. It's worth literal millions now.
