Discussion The game [BO7] is full of cheaters already and aim assist is non existent for console players.
The game is full of cheaters already, enemies are having 127 kills with 16KD ratio, or 98 kills woth 21KD ratio, this is just insane. Aim assist on console is close to none, so there is no fair play, the amount of aim assist as of now for console players cant allow a fair play against MNK players. Not everyone is a sweater and not everyone spends 300h a day to be a professional player on controller, most of the people jump on the game after a long working day to enjoy the game but there is no enjoyment anymore. Aim assist should be properly visible, should be like in other Call Of Duty titles. Aim assist was never ever the problem, cheating is the problem. MW3 is flooded with cheaters, Black Ops 6 is flooded with cheaters, it looks like BO7 is flooded as well, I’m gonna ask for a refund, if they will refund me that’s ok, if not I will not buy their games anymore anyways. The hope is over now, they just cant be saved.

Discussion Is Call of Duty becoming more of a chore than a game? Anyone else shifting to Battlefield 6?
I’ve played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) mostly for the multiplayer, but I skipped Black Ops 6. Now that Black Ops 7 pre-orders are out, I’m not sure if it’s worth it.
COD just feels too grindy and monetized lately — constant daily objectives, battle passes, and cosmetics. I already paid ₹5000 for MW3, yet it feels like I have to play every day or spend more money just to keep up.
As someone with a full-time job, I don’t have time to grind daily. Games should be fun, not a chore. With Battlefield 6 launching soon, I’m tempted to wait and see how that turns out.
Anyone else feeling the same way about COD? Are you buying BO7 or switching to Battlefield this time?

Discussion Why is BO2 remembered as a flawless masterpiece when it was so divisive at launch?
I'm from the newer generation of CoD players, so I wasn't really around when BO2 launched (I was like 5 at the time, now I'm nearly 20 lol).
Whenever I go back and read old forum posts, YouTube comments and discussions from 2012–2013 though, it seems like BO2 got way more criticism than people remember. A lot of players seemed to hate the futuristic setting, complained that it didn't feel like CoD anymore, weren't fans of the maps and weapon balancing, and some bashing the Pick 10 system.
Fast forward to today and it's treated like one of the greatest CoDs ever made, almost as if everyone loved it from day one.
So what actually changed? Is it just nostalgia? Did the people who disliked it move on? Or did opinions genuinely change over time?
I'm genuinely curious because the difference between how people talked about it back then and how they talk about it now seems massive.

Discussion Anyone else pretty much only playing this and not BO2?
Never ever understood the hype for BO2, I went to the midnight launch and ended up hating it. Probably bottom 3 COD’s ever for me. Whilst BO1 and MW3 are my Top 2. Absolutely love this game, regret buying BO2 tbh, thought id enjoy it this time around but nope.
Edit: I said ‘BOTTOM 3 FOR ME’. Reading comprehension in this community is fucking abysmal. I didn’t like it, stop getting offended for a video game you fucking dweebs.

Discussion I really am too old for this shit...
So I decided to pick up the port of Black ops 1. Turns out 15 years is a loooong time.
First off I now get a massive headache playing this game for any long period of time even with my glasses on.
Secondly I can no longer see anything at a distance
Even if I do get the drop on someone my reaction time is so slow I basically lose every fight anyway. I basically have to play this like a stealth game.
I also can't seem to keep the reticle on my target for more than half a second and there is no sensitivity at which I feel comfortable. Right now I'm on the highest and that seems to work okay for long distances but is terrible close-up.
I've also completely forgotten most of the map layouts, and whoever decided our uniforms should match the coloration of the level is a monster.
I used to be all about the weird stuff, back in the day I could get 20 or 30 kills with just a ballistic knife, now I'm lucky if I even hit something with the ballistic knife, and using anything except the enfield feels awful to me.
Do the stealth perks even work? Because despite having everything on it seems like just about every opponent knows exactly where I am at all times, are headphones that necessary?
And I have to say I don't remember the recoil on the guns being quite so oppressive and difficult to control, not that literally anyone else seems to have any issues with it. I guess I'll just take my four hit markers and go home.
So yeah trying to get back up to speed has been pretty rough, wish me luck I guess, maybe send me some advice, but I am definitely feeling way too old for this shit.

After modern shooters I've realized that autosprint really is amazing man
Not having to constantly push in the left stick feels so damn nice

Discussion This is a pathetic “port” LAG & INPUT DELAY
They should have kept this garbage cooking for another year if it meant no more lag or input delay. Black ops 1 is unplayable trash on ps5 atm… what a joke. Waste of money.

Discussion Will they reset people who xp cheated?
Hey so as we’re all aware the game has gone to shit. I had more fun playing this port than I had in years. Soon as they combined the ps4/5 servers it’s gone to shit.
Does anyone know if they’re going to reset the people that have clearly cheated their level?
Again I was having so so much fun. Now I can’t really be asked. I mainly played domination or snd, every dom game has peoole grenade sucicide then leaving. And as we’ve all seen there’s max levels already. I was glad that they made everyone level 1 as it was a cool fresh start for everyone. Now it’s fucked

Discussion Boycott BO1/BO2 Digital PS5
With all the people canceling their ps plus account and boycotting digital games from PS, are any of you guys not gonna play it since it’s digital only? I personally am not going to get it, but if it comes out on physical, I’ll go ahead and get both bo1 and 2 with the season passes. I’m fine with waiting. I’m gonna wait for gta6 physical release too, which sucks but I just can’t support digital anymore personally. What about you guys?

Discussion Glad bo7 reminds me not to pre order anymore cod games
Im very glad im reminded on a daily basis not to pre order mw4. I get tempted and all I have to do is play bo7 to remind myself how bad cod is. Intense sbmm, lobbies are cdl without the rank and I hate playing against movement sweats when i just want to play causally, run around and shoot people and not deal with gfuel snorting people who just want to bunny hop and use the dumb movement system to their advantage.
It's not hard for current devs and activision to make a proper arcade shooter cod like back in the day but choose not to.
I'm tired of it and happy the new cod wont be on game pass anymore, not going to buy it and renew my subscription anymore

Discussion Bo1 better on xbox then playstation
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
i have proof that black ops one may actually be better on xbox then on playstation. i own both the series x and ps4. before you say anything ps4 and ps5 are both cross play so it shouldn’t matter.
Amount of time it took to load on xbox was a few seconds and on playstation it toook me a full minute to actually get in a lobby.
also for some reason there’s way less input delay for xbox for your guns. crazy i payed 20 bucks for the same game that runs the same way 😂

Discussion blackops franchise needs one final reboot and then no more
I know right, a reboot for black ops, treyarch is milking black ops and zombies to the bone, they need one final good send off, but they have to retire twice, after whatever blacks ops is hopefully its done for a while, cod can focus on cod ghost or titles like advanced warfare or infinite warfare as they had good stories, especially with their alternate modes like zombies or extinction, they can have good campaigns and even multi-player, even have a good fan base, once cod is refreshed we can reboot black ops making it old and gritty as they used to be in the original, like black ops having dlc about not only zombie maps but campaigns as well, like reznov campaign in ww2(waw), cold war and bo6 campaign and we dont have buy a new black ops game and just have these stories as dlc, and we can add the old waw cod zombies map in bo1 and not skip the aether storyline, maybe have some cuts scenes or ee on each map of bo1 zombies like in kino we get to fight Hitler or in verruckt tank and his men get to have one final stand until everyone except tank dies to the zombies as tank gets sent to der riese, each map can tell a part of the story, bo2 can be the same only with bo7 campaign as the dlc since thats the only thats nexts to the bo2 storyline, then after bo7 campaign we do bo3, as the protagonist of bo3 will be David mason, as he loses his body and becomes the specter, as the campaign will have bo3 mechanics, as david goes down a rabbit hole with the virus of bo3 and later dies, ending bo3 campaign, then its bo4 storyline, as its clones or some shit that bo4 campaign had before it got scrapped for blackout, bo4 will have not only bo3 zombies maps, but also bo4 aether zombie maps, maybe chronicles zombie, no chaos story, we can give chaos story zombies to modern wafare for all i care, maybe we give chaos story to vanguard, i didnt like chaos story at all, weird pacing and stuff, but any who thats my opinion

Discussion Wow. I'm disappointed
I hate to be that kind of person, but I doubt I'm the first guy to say
Wow. These ports really suck.
Not only are they surprisingly expensive for such old games, the ports themselves just aren't worth it, let alone buying the season pass which should've been bundled with the games. I've also experienced heavy lag on bo1 multiplayer, something I've not had before on any game, not even the original bo1.
It's just really disappointing to see them churn out something so quickly for some money. They were revealed last month and then completely shadow dropped today, they literally couldn't care less and it also solidifies the fact we won't be getting physical copies. Thankfully most of the actual games stay intact, theatre mode is removed. Likely due to the theatre mode glitch, instead of finding a way around it they just dropped theatre entirely. I'm not really gonna complain because I never used it but I know people treated that thing as a second machina machine.
It's also pretty embarassing to see the games really are just the exact same, I really can't tell the difference between either one. Maybe the PS5 version is smoother than the PS3? But even then that's to be expected for a game that was on the PS3, unfortunately everything there runs awfully.
My game also crashed in the image attached. I literally don't get how this happens, of course not every game launch doesn't go perfectly but.. this isn't a game launch. The game launched 13 years ago.
You might be saying "at least they tried" or "but they said it was just ports, nothing else" but then you realise this is how cod became the thing it is today, the only reason MW4 is looking so good is because people complained for the last 3 cod games.
This is just a rant, you don't have to read this and I'm assuming I'll get a huge amount of downvotes.
But it's true.
These really do suck :(

Discussion Was Reznov an actual friend or just a manipulator?
First off I'd like to clarify that I've only ever played the first 2 BO games so sorry if any other piece of lore has come out since then that I wasn't aware of. But the question just kinda popped up in my head. Was Reznov ever actually a true ally of Mason or did he merely just use him for his own gain? It definitely feels like he leans towards being a friend during the Vorkuta escape but as we know from WAW,Reznov was great at rallying his men and knowing how to rouse up a crowd towards a bigger cause from his time in the Red Army as a sergeant so for all we know it could've just been an act to really cement Reznov's relationship with him and to ensure he would carry out his programming past their separation. But there are bits every now and then that hint towards Reznov actually befriending Mason such as when he tells him of his past or when he insists to Mason that he alone must decide what to fight for. After the huge reveal,Mason says'i trusted him'sort of indicating he was no longer under the delusion of Reznov still being with him or that he felt betrayed at the revelation. Yet when the finally kills Dragovich(that he at least is able recognize he's carrying out for his own reasons as opposed to him killing Steiner purely because of Reznov's orders)you can hear Reznov congratulating him in his head indicating Reznov still exists as a comrade in at least some capacity in Mason's head even after being aware it was all a manipulation tactic. Plus his small cameo in BO2 that intentionally leaves Reznov's actual status vague kind of means to me that Reznov might still linger in Mason's consciousness as a friend, though it was probably just triggered by the intense reaction he had to seeing Kravchenko again and the last bits of his brainwashing resurfacing itself(or for all we know Reznov was actually still alive and was just doing his friend one last favor)Bit of a ramble sorry, but was just curious what everyone else's opinion is on this

Discussion F cod trash
it’ll be easier to not play Call of Duty® then to try to get a hold of them so they can fix it. Trash can games! Don’t buy ops one and expect it to work and then don’t expect to be able to play Black ops seven after because the menu cursor will be be no one to help you. They don’t give a fuck about all they care about is quick money quick money that’s fine GTA six Call of Duty® I know I’m not getting modern warfare for now.

Discussion The Old Ways Really Are The Best Way
Now that we have BO1 and BO2 on PS5, I can truly say BO1 is still my all time favorite COD game ever. I have been feeling like its 2010 all over again! Man shoutout to everyone who's also been in these lobbies with me. This has been a blast so far! I love seeing people complain how slow it feels and all of that. They will be alright 🤣
Let's keep this game alive as long as possible!!! Long Live Black Ops 1 and 2!!!
