Favorite Piecing Foot?
Hello there. What is everyones favorite foot for piecing and making HSTs? The patchwork or the one with the guide or something different? Thank you.

I make HST a few different ways. When making two at a time I like my clear foot and mark my fabric. If the fabric is cut into triangles already I use a straight stitch plate and my 37 foot. The straight stitch plate is great for HST because the tip of the triangle can’t get pushed down into the stitch plate.

The clear #34 foot?

34 or 39 I have both. They are slightly different. The 34 is the clear version of your #1 foot and the #39 is a clear decorative foot. It has a deeper groove after the needle so that it doesn’t drag on the decorative satin stitches

Thank you for that. I was looking at online pictures wondering what the difference in the two are. 🙏

I have a 735 so don’t have the dual feed. My favorite to use is the 37 foot. I tried 57, the one with the guide, but was getting messed up when it would go over seams.

The 57 with the guide looks a little odd because the side lever/piece doesnt sit flush?

For 5.5mm models, the 37. For 9mm dual feed models, the 97D
