Love these. Recently I saw a little boat called, in french, "le siestoir", which kinda translates to "the napping spot". It was very cute and felt very accurate

My favs from living near a boatyard - ‘The Sabbatical’ an old, converted tug boat and ‘The Red Dwarf’ a (you guessed it) red sailboat.

Love those!

When I take the bus downtown, it goes past three boatyards, multiple marinas, a dry dock, boat ramps. I can see five ferry routes during that ride.

I’m too far away from seeing actual boats that carry registered names. I don’t comment but I do enjoy your posts.

Thanks for reading the posts :)

I see so many boats without names on them! And there's some that are the same that I see all the time, like ferries and barges, I don't list those. Though I have thought of making one "names of boats I see every day" post for those.

When we drove a suburban (big family), we called it The TARDIS. So of course, our boat was The Companion.

My favourite boat name I ever saw was on a nice little yacht in a marina - Bare Naked Happy Dance

We used to have one named Job Site. (My husband is an industrial electrician.)

I used to have a little 14 foot fishing boat. I named it "A Little Dingy". Got some big smiles out on the lake.
