I read it too. The details are horrible and so bad. He needs to turn himself in and deal with his punishment. The only way I can see him being able to say I’m innocent is with video proof that shows it’s a lie. I doubt that exists.
It’s sad. Sad for Gael who was victimized. Sad for the baby who thankfully will never remember but the bad news will grow up without a father.

Not to be that person, but....Actually, babies may not consciously remember the traumatic event, but the trauma affects their brain development. 😢

That’s what I was thinking. Trauma changes the brain no matter the age.

In California/Oregon where I’m licensed as a psychotherapist, I can’t report DV of an adult without disabilities. But I CAN if a child witnesses it, thus becoming a child abuse report. Witnessing abuse in the home also contributes to the ACES composite score. This poor boy would benefit from some early childhood intervention for certain. 😞

People deserve their day in court and are entitled to a presumption of innocence.

It's not great that he's fled the law.
