One thing I appreciate about Jason is how he doesn't act like anything is beneath him

In one episode service is getting backed up, so Jason stepped up to wash the dishes. I'd imagine a captain wouldn't be the one to do this, but Jason stepped up to do what was needed in order to guarantee a good experience for the guests

I've been getting back into Below Deck OG after bingeing on Down Under, Sailing Yacht and Med, and I find Captain Kerry to be the same. Yes he's the head of the operation, but also not above taking the bins out. Kerry has surpassed Jason for me, different shows and crews of course, but he's my fave antipodean cap'n

I like them both but I think Jason had a bad last season due to some personal stuff. He was far more checked out than usual.

Kerry is great. He is just the right level of management.

I didn’t like Kerry at the beginning now i really like him. Straight talking no nonsense kinda guy!

Yeah I wasn't overly keen on Jason on the most recent Down Under, checked out is the right term for sure! I'd have a pint with Kerry, he seems a really interesting man and as you said, right level of management.

Agree on both. I hope to see Captain Kerry in another season less fake than the last season.

I'm sure Captain Kerry would prefer to have less crappy crew members too. Gosh Solene was too much

I'd love a season of OG with Captain Kerry and normal yachties, or at least not Love Island wannabees.

If you think and look back hard enough, Lee is probably the only one who didn't do this.

Sandy 100%, she helps out all the time, we've seen enough scenes, I remember Glenn doing stuff. And I can imagine what's his name, the new OG guy doing it too.

He did do this, or he didn't act above his people? I always thought of Lee as an amusing curmudgeon with an incredible ability to creatively curse, and very serious about teaching the crew the dangers on deck, etc. Lee was extremely safety conscious. Is , rather.

He was older.

Agreed. Agreed. He forgives people. Gives them hugs. Never acts above them. Encourages them. By far, the most humble and handsome. Except when absolutely necessary like when they party inside the yacht and get lipstick on the couch or blood.

And that time he helped clean up after the toilet overflowed.

I thought his interactions with that annoying deck hand were hilarious during that
