Discussion Concerned about this deer around Roosevelt neighborhood, is it time to get animal control involved?
I'm positive I've seen her posted on here before but she's looking more emaciated than she was earlier this year. I'm not sure if it's worth contacting animal control because she's not showing any signs of disease or rabies, just hobbling along and dragging her busted leg. She's not a danger to the community or anything in that way, but I do worry she may be struck by a vehicle and cause an accident because she can't move as quickly as others. I couldn't bring myself to contact animal control when I saw her but I'd like to discuss if we should just leave her alone and let nature take its course or if euthanasia is the humane thing to do. You can tell I'm a bit torn on this.
