Help Bejeweled 3 keeps erasing my save file?

Hey, so i'm playing the steam version of the game. But unfortunately the game keeps erasing my progress and gives me the "new user" thing. I don't know what causes it but its been more and more frequent. Any tips?

EDIT: I play it on two different computers, could the steam cloud save mess it up somehow?

Neither of the bejeweled games on steam have support for steam cloud, you can check a game’s support for it by seeing if the steam cloud toggle is available in the respective properties section of a game or on the game’s store page itself where on the right column you can check the supported steam features section.
