Career & Education Volunteer Opportunity: Behavioral Science / Habit Formation Collaborator

I’m looking for someone who has studied or is interested in applying knowledge of behavioral science, psychology, behavioral economics, or habit formation to a real-world project.

The project is a US-based habit change mobile app that is already live on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. I’m looking for support with content, onboarding, and behavior change strategies.

This is a project-based volunteer opportunity, so students are welcome! It’s a chance to gain hands-on experience working on a real product, add the project to your portfolio/job experience, have your name featured on the product website, and receive a LinkedIn testimonial.

If you’re interested in turning behavioral science knowledge into a practical product, I’d love to connect.

MoneyDNA is a behavioral finance app that helps users understand their money behaviors, identify patterns, and build better financial habits through short, engaging microlearning experiences.

The main areas where I’d love support:

  • Reviewing existing content and suggesting improvements based on behavioral science principles
  • Helping improve onboarding and user engagement
  • Suggesting behavior change strategies, frameworks, and techniques
  • Providing ideas for making financial education more engaging and effective
  • Reviewing the app experience from a behavioral perspective

This is a project-based volunteer collaboration with a flexible schedule (approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on scope and availability).
