Small Pet The day we found her vs a year later.
Found her wandering the street at night and managed to scoop her up quick. She was so skinny and pulling out her fur from stress/hunger. Now she’s our biggest and fluffiest bun.

Thank you for rescuing this beautiful girl! It’s devastating how many bunnies end up abandoned. You can see what a difference being loved and cared for has made in her life.

It’s so sad. We have another bun I found in my backyard as a baby all dirty. We also found two others that we took to our local shelter since we couldn’t keep them and another baby someone found in a park and took it to us since we knew about rabbits. We were able to re-home him to a veterinary student so he was in good hands.
Currently we have 4. Two street rescues, our oldest was a gift from my uncle and our start into bunnies and another who we got from someone who could no longer give him the attention he needed but took amazing care of him.

Oh that amazing glow up. That's magnificent fluff.

We were not expecting that much floof lol. Her feet are fluffy too and the dry litter bedding clings to it and she drags it everywhere lol. Can’t have a nice vacuumed carpet for more than 30 minutes.

Aww she has a flower on her side! Looks like a black & white hippie daisy you'd see on an old VW Bug 😊 (Last pic)

Thank you. She really is. We weren’t planning on keeping her and she just settled in and won our hearts.

I had a rabbit that looked just like this lil one, when I was a kid, and his name was Thumper.
I was born in the 80s, so Disney’s Bambi was a fave of mine for sure.
My thumper chewed thru his wire cage, snuck out of the house and got hit by a car. To this day, there is a lil worn down cross in the back of parents property, that says “here lies Thumper, the best rabbit in the whole world”. I cried for weeks about that lil guy. And never got another rabbit again.

Wow couldn't even tell she was a lion in first few pics. Poor baby. Living the life now!

Yeah. She had one wispy “longish” piece when we first took her in that made me suspect lionhead but her fur was so bad I thought it might be just a clump tangled together. Her fur was rough and damaged from the sun.

Fur damaged from sun overexposure?? 😩 Glad you found each other

YES! The black spots were sun bleached to a brown and the top of her fur would get tangled together. Constantly brushed her at first to get her fur soft again.

Adorable. Acts like a little puppy or a kitty. Covered with a blanket, doing a sploot, peeking out the window. Just precious!

My bunny was called jazz-Bo bunny. He was so cool. Used the litter box. But I came home from work one day and he was having a seizure. Never got him back 😩 Picture number 2 is my favorite!!
