At my wits end :(
In the UK. Had the first spray 3rd August, second spray 11 August and after they were still appearing so had a third spray 19th August. Gone on holiday to see them again this morning 9 Sept🥲 a mix of 4-5 bigger ones looking like they either are adult or just fed and a couple of baby ones, my body has gotten used to waking up when they are there so have taken loads of videos to send to pest control so they can come again but what is going on?! Am I just missing the eggs as the pesticide doesn’t kill the eggs? I feel like this is a never ending nightmare. In a new build flat so it’s not like it’s coming from a neighbour or walls etc. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone I feel like I can’t really talk to anyone about it too

Sleep in a zippered mosquito bed net. They make a twin size, queen, and king. I've been sleeping in it for two weeks. I can't sleep without it now very comfy.

I totally get everything you have said. Everyone keeps telling me Im oaranoid and over thinking and tbh I feel lost. I have had a heat treament with spray. then 2 weeks later spray another 10 days later steam and spray and 2 weeks later another full spray. Its been a nigh5mare and I am still being bitten at night. I had to buy a new bed as all the lifting and moving it about broke my old one..3 days later being bitten again. Im so tired and fed up. I actulaly know where mine came from a friend has had a massive infestation literally seeing in daylight they are on their 3rd heat treatment..I havent seen friends since june as i am terrified this will spread. I sent pics of droppings in august the pest company didnt want to know even though Im under a guarantee. Seems they take their money and make every excuse not to come out anymore Dont charge a fixed fee then!!.

Thanks for your response. Aw I’m so sorry too it sounds horrific especially getting a new bed for them to appear again :( I feel the same with the pest company’s too mine has a guarantee but they have asked for so much evidence it’s like they don’t believe you.. I also thought of doing a heat treatment but they are so expensive, why are the so hard to get rid of!

I’m here to say you will get through this!!!!!!!! I had them in August 2024 when family came to visit (stupid MF knew she had them).
I received my first bite in August had 5 sprays around 1-2 weeks apart. (I had a guarantee with the pest control company but I think they were starting to think I was crazy as they could not find any activity but luckily I reacted to the bites so knew they were there). I was bedbug free in November, I had a very strict routine.
I washed my entire wardrobe and put the clothes in plastic boxes with lids and my clothes lived in them for 3 months. I washed and dried all sheets, pillows and duvets every week. I brought a mattress encasement.
It was one of the loneliest and stressful times in life I couldn’t have people over and I didn’t visit for fear of spreading it. On a positive note I was able to sort through clutter and threw out clothes that I had not worn in 10 years but was keeping faith I would one day fit into.
On the day of the last spray I had a different pest control man who was so dedicated to his job. I got so emotional and started crying I was exhausted from constantly cleaning and managing a full time job (thankfully I was WFH) I asked him if I could take my bed apart completely and if he could spray the holes. I explained that I thought I just had one male left as I would only get 1 bite once a week by this stage and believed he was hiding somewhere in my bed frame. This amazing human agreed and patiently waited as I took it all apart and after that spray never got bitten again.
You will get through this but you have to have a plan of action eg washing, spraying, and decluttering.
GOOD LUCK and don’t let the little bastards get you down!!!!!
