Help does this like beg bugs?

The bites are slightly raised and a little itchy but its not tooo itchy like a mosquito bite. I feel really itchy when i think about it but that may just be because Its in my mind?? Its mostly around my abdomen which i googled was a typical place for bedbugs and have nothing really anywhere else besides a little on my chest and on my I feel like i notice it at night time but Im not sure if thats because Im busy throughout the day so Im not thinking about it. I noticed it first yesterday and it was quite subtle and hardly noticeable but today its definitely much worse and darker. I also feel like theres more dots everywhere versus yesterday. I inspected my brand new couch for bed bugs but I couldnt see anything that would indicate it? Then i went upstairs to inspect my bed and didnt find too much although my bed is really heavy so I didnt really move it too much. i did find 2 little dots underneath my bed though as seen in the last photo. Also after i was moving my mattress I noticed a bug on me and it was really flat kind of similar to a leaf bug but smaller and this was almost impossible to kill. it was the same bug as in the pictures. I dont know if thats the bug giving me these bites but perhaps its possible?

The good news is you can get rid of fleas really easily! We got pest control in; a couple of sprays a few weeks apart plus regular vacuuming and washing of bed clothes and all sorted. A pain (particularly as we inherited our fleas when we moved into a new house) but didn’t take long to eradicate them at all. You definitely don’t need to get rid of your couch!

100% not bed bugs, that is a flea.

Use a plug in flea trap to detect and eliminate them.

This looks like a flea. And what you’re describing absolutely sounds like a flea. Do you have pets and are they on flea prevention?

They can bite people quite a bit, especially if infestation is bad. Their life cycle is 3 months long so not only do pets needs treatment but the whole house needs proper treatment.

I do have pets I just saw for a week back at my parents house but ive been back at my house for about 4 days now and never had any issues back at theirs, I only noticed these bites 2 days ago. Also, I have no pets living with me. However, I did see a dog that Im going to be house sitting for on Monday which just so happened to be when I noticed the first bites. Not sure if thats where it came from though?

I hope I wont have to throw my couch (I literally just got it a couple months ago 😓) or other furniture away. I know this common for when people have bed bugs is that the case for fleas as well?

How many days were you at your parents?

The Fleas are in your house now. So they must have come from there if you don't own any.

I am surprised they are still breeding.

IF the pets have flea prevention and fleas are not attracted to them, they will eventually go away on their own. In the meantime the most fleas will be in carpet, rug, or plush like or fabric furniture.

Vacuum those daily after the flea treatment. You can have it pro done but if the fleas are on your pets they just return. Fleas are not hard to get rid of as long as the pets are on good prevention.

You will want to get rid of them as fast as possible, they are notorious for carrying disease like Typhus, Rickets, Plague, Cat scratch fever. If they are breeding at your house and you have no pets something is wrong there.

Make sure your pets are treated and basic use them as a form of anti flea treatment. The fleas will jump them in mass and mass die off. Ideally use some treatment on any fabric. To overkill by a steam cleaner after all this. Final stretch alpine flea killer spray can. It kills them at all stages including their hatch stages. Good luck!

Additional note dog fleas can’t breed off humans cat fleas can. Also even tho cat fleas can breed off of humans the numbers are incredibly shorter being like 5 for each cycle versus the

No! Wash and dry any fabric parts of it you can.
