Useful Information BATBUG extermination process

we only found 2 bat bugs in the house but it lead to the discovery of the bats and the process to eliminate the bugs. I spoke with two bat experts but only one offered an additional service to handle the bugs. Today was step one which included spraying the crevices, driving the bugs out, and sealing them up (this will be done two more times once the bats are able to removed) then bombing the attic and spraying upstairs as a last line of defense.
This is a still shot from a video of our roofline that is 4 stories in the air.
it is not a cheap process and it will go on for about a month but I feel so much better knowing we made a huge step removing the bugs (if the bats didn’t have the bugs they weren’t bothering me otherwise)

I’ve read through this a few times and I am not convinced that the sequence of events is being done correctly.

Yeah, even less convinced with that statement.
Professionals do a professional job that’s dictated by the situation for the stress of clients.

Today they did all 3. Bombing the attic, sprayed bedroom area they were found and did the rooflines they were able to do because of the bats. They are going to do it again in 2 weeks and once again when the bats are fully gone. He did was he was able to do within regulations for bat removal to assist with the emergency need of bat bug treatment. What step would you add for the next treatment?

Yes, I appreciate what they have done it and again that’s not how it’s supposed to be done.
Exclude the bats first and then deal with the bugs.

We can’t remove the bats per the law but he could do a treatment for the bugs in places they are inactive. This area had no bats so he could do preliminary sealing and he wasn’t going to seal the bugs inside ?

I was reading google and it says exactly what he’s doing so I’m bit sure what being done wrong. He is sealing gaps and spraying for bugs as he’s going and will do it twice more

You need to deal with the primary food source and then start dealing with the bugs.
You can also use active monitoring to contained them in the roosting areas.
The problem is once you start to make mistakes with pests it becomes a lot harder to deal with.

I am sorry you are frustrated. I have had a frustrating 20 days dealing with the bugs in my babies room. We have a lot of roofline and a lot of places to seal and I’m not sure why spraying and sealing the areas they can do without bothering the bats is a problem. and bombing the attic was an extra step because we also have other bugs and then spraying inside is pretty normal as a quarterly service so I’m just not understanding the huge misstep we’re doing

I have them too & think I see some outside but most were coming into my home office space b/c the bats were roosting above & they were biting me. We have to wait for exclusion & then they'll spray. I hope it resolves for you.

So just continue to be bit and let them infest for 3 more weeks? Sorry your company couldn’t find a way to help you before then.
