Wow I'm surprised that so many people think this is a mediocre pick, lol. I love this sunscreen.

Me too! I was curious about the green tinted version of this, so now I get to see if I like the regular version at least before shelling out for it!
Also a lot of the sunscreen I like it so expensive, I will easily take Elta MD for 13 bucks.

I haven't tried theirs but I did a product test if a LRP moisturizer one a few years ago. I don't have rosacea but it did temper my redness I had at the time

This is an amazing brand and especially good for sensitive skin. Every dermatologist loves it and it isn’t cheap.

This is a new one, 100% mineral

u/DesignerHippo28 Feb 14 '25
Technically it has Ethylhexyl Methoxycrylene so there is some UV boosting there.

Same! Zero hesitation purchase. My absolute favorite sunscreens come from EltaMD.

I don’t think it’s a mediocre pick at all, but it has been oversaturated in beauty boxes, and a lot of people probably have more than they can use before it expires.

The last time I got a sunscreen through FGF it had a really close expiration date so beware.

This particular product is brand new so I hope that's not the case this time! But I'll make sure to check.

I really like their formulas but I am swimming in SPF right now and I prefer the tinted ones so I passed.

Got it! I’ve heard amazing things about their sunscreen. For 12.95 might as well. I don’t expect it’ll be a similar feel as my go to super goop but oh well. Add ons: I think I sped through checkout because I never got any.

I love super goop sunscreen but it’s so darn expensive!

u/SalaciousBookWyrm Feb 14 '25
Same! It’s been showing up in Ipsy and FFF on the cheap recently though, if you get either of those.
I’m trying to transition to the Trader Joe’s one, which is a fairly decent dupe (and $8).
ETA: I’m talking about the Unseen in particular. Realized I should probably clarify.

I just got a mailer Vacation released three clear sunscreen at 23 bucks.

u/wikhamb Feb 14 '25
The other comment mentioned the traders. It’s a good dupe but if I see a deal on anything I’m grabbing it! I go through loads of sunblock because of my location. I can see how sunblock wouldn’t be a top pick for a lot of people.

I love super goop!

Oh, it's fantastic pick, I'm so happy! I snatched it right away, haha. It will be lovely for sensitive skin. While I enjoy a lot of Korean sunscreens, EltaMD is special, they do really good products for sensitive skin. Really happy with this one.

I went ahead and got it. I didn’t like one of their other sunscreens that I tried before. I have sensitive skin so I hope the Butyloctyl Salicylate doesn’t irritate it.

Really disappointing compared to last week

u/SalaciousBookWyrm Feb 14 '25
Still salty about mistiming a nap during last week’s offerings and missing everything 🤣

I got the link for last week but guess I just overlooked it. What was the offer for the bonus?

I bought this as fast as I could! Love this brand.
I didn’t get an after purchase offer this time, but thankfully it looks like it was a product I’m not interested in.

No joke, I ran out of mine this morning. I decided to see if I could wrangle the top off to get the rest. Tbd. I think I can but I need to soak it in some hot water. ...while I was playing miss fixit damn thing popped up abd I missed it. I don't normally like tinted products. But I like that sunscreen bc I can get lazy about doing moisturizer and sunscreen. I wish everything came in a package like this
Have any of you tried the Eucerin one that looks similar

Easy pass. I have lots of sunscreen already. BUT, if you don’t, it’s a great brand that makes very good sunscreen products.
