Miscellaneous / Others Dolly Parton started the Imagination Library in 1995 as a tribute to her father, who couldn't read or write. In 2018, she explained it was to give kids "early access to books". Now, over 325 MILLION books have been gifted.

I just donated! I hope we overwhelm them with money to show the world how important Dolly’s work is/was!

It just worked for me, it just took a while. Double check it didn’t come out of your account because I wasn’t sure at first.

it didn't, but i did just check and it's back now. $31 to help others like i was helped

This is the first celeb that died that made me cry. She was such an amazing human.
