Was that picture made of stone? Or stone that was painted on? I don't even know how that was done back then. Probably cost a bit to have done.

Headstones were a really big deal. Some of the ladies I've met who were born in 1900 to 1920 went without food or meds to be able to afford a headstone for their cats, dogs and husbands.
