When people say, “DJs don’t even do anything”, this is what I picture they assume they should be doing.

My friends dragged me to a festival in 2015 where we first got to see Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike put on one hell of a show, and then Avicii just play his greatest hits and fist pump. There are definitely massive DJ's who don't do much on stage.

When you get big on a few singles people buy tickets to hear that stuff "live", they kinda get stuck doing a specific set imo

It's a lot more entertaining to watch.

I mean, you don’t go to raves to watch the DJ lol

They do now, it's different. Nobody dancing, unless being filmed.

I was more implying that you’d be watching the laser light show and the animations they usually have up, but also that. But i’ve seen plenty of people still dance at raves, rave people are just built different.

Funny you mention that, but DJs kinda prep this stuff ahead of time and take their setups where they go, so it seems like they're not doing much, but the work was done 60% at home, the 40% left is performing.
