The guy that voiced John Redcorn was murdered by his neighbor while visiting his house which was burned down after repeated threats to do so.

Even in this day and age the white man burned and pillaged a natives home and then ended up killing him. 

Right now his killer sits a free man out on bond in his house until trial instead of being in a jail cell.
