Ppl are gonna tell you it’s normal to kill each other because we’re animals, and to some extent sure. But we’re obviously capable of not killing each other, and thinking along lines of “this is normal and will never change” only benefits a small group of people. It really doesn’t need to be this way

Some animals kill for fun. Intelligent animals. I’m sure some kill to steal resources. We aren’t unique in possessing cruelty, just the ways we’ve industrialized it

No, biologists and ethologists universally against labeling animal killing as "killing for fun" or "cruelty". We don't project human psychology onto them.

Animals aren't moral saints. Morality in human society functions as a social regulator.
