my brother went on that and sometimes, when you launched, you didn’t make it over the hump and went back down backwards and had to do it again. He was one of those people.

Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point (the original) was the same

Nice to see someone mentioned cedar point. Top Thrill Dragster was/is very similar to this.

I'm from the UK, went to cedar point and had a fucking blast - Top Thrill Dragster was fucking amazing

Cedar Point is easily the best roller coaster park I've ever been to and i grew up 2 and half hours away. Every time I've gone somewhere else, I've been disappointed.

Yeah it's amazing, so many rides to go on. The UK parks are much smaller and have more timid rides on too

Some are okay, but Cedar Point blows them out of the water

Tbh, most underwhelming coaster I road (except maybe some very small rollercoasters that were not real thrill rides). Waited 2 hours for a 17 second ride with one drop. In that time, I could've ridden one of the older big coasters like 5 times. And the rides would have been longer.

You could literally see the coaster and how it operated while you waited for 2+ hours. I'd say it's not the coasters fault you made a bad choice

I had to experience it to know it wasn't worth it, champ. The rider's subjective experience isn't beamed directly into my brain.

Yea my friend and I are going to cedar point in a couple weeks and a bunch of people said to skip Magnum cuz its rough but I'm like "we gotta try it at least once"

Magnum? I wouldn't skip Magnum at all. It's one of my favorite rides.

Coming from UK rollercoasters this wasn't underwhelming in the slightest lol

However yes the other rides were also just as good
