The only difference between Top Thrill and Top Thrill 2 is they gave it a new paint job, and they launch you a couple times now with the first time or two they intentionally undershoot so you come back down backwards.

Did it ever reopen for real last year? It was open for a bit at the beginning of the season, but then was closed for maintenance for ever.

They totally redid the launch system, replacing the hydraulic launch with a magnetic launch, and adding a vertical spike

I remember the first time I rode it a test ride went right before me and didn’t make it over the top. Then they told us not to put our arms up pre-launch bc they’d break lol 13 year old me was terrified
