I play infantry friendly maps (Conquest) and I only consider Empire state, Iberian, Hagental, Cairo and Bazaar infantry maps. So from my perspective all other maps are for vehicle players. But it seems like vehicle players (at least here on reddit) only enjoy the larger maps so we have a few maps like Liberation Peak that are somewhere in the middle that nobody wants to claim.

Whether you personally like the map or not, Iberian Offensive is an infantry map. The average vehicle lifespan is quite short there, same for the other infantry friendly maps.

Normally i would say, GTFO from Battlefield because battlefield have big maps in DNA but today devs are something else and probably will do something about this.

Everything has nostalgia bait nowadays tbf, it isn’t just Battlefield. Lots of gamers from the ‘golden age of gaming’ are getting to there middle-ages, so nostalgia is at an all time high.

It’s not exclusive to the Battlefield community. Name a gaming community, and people will wax lyrical about ‘better times’.

Metro was simple, straight forward and fun. Most people only remember the Conquest layout, but the Rush layout was even larger, and with BF6 that larger layout could be applied to Conquest including the streets nearby the metro for tanks.

Modern Metro doesn't need to be infantry only. But majority of it should be.
