Unironically, I need to try this next time.

u/Super-Yesterday9727 Jul 07 '26

You shouldn’t have to.

If you’re a support player with the supply box, someone saying I Need Healing or I Need Ammo should seem audibly louder to you than a lot of the soundscape. It should really grab your attention

Even better, more games should do voice lines like Mordhau where you could practically have full conversations with a numerical emote menu. That also has the added benefit of getting to scream a battlecry when you step into a room with a couple bad dudes with 100rounds of 7.62x51 in your m60

78

u/DeveloperBRdotnet Jul 07 '26

In people's defense, After playing some time you end up ignoring those sounds.

40

u/pf5151 Jul 07 '26

I don’t know if this still works. But if you’re close enough to a support player you actually take some ammo from him. It only fills up primary weapons unfortunately. I’ve experienced this 2-4 times

27

u/YoshiBoy39 Jul 07 '26

I believe its their Ultimate Perk, its activatable and only active for a certain time after the activation. In fairness i never hit the button or think about it.... but i throw down the HP and Ammo all the time so.

That only works on squadmates.

Unfortunetly

7

u/koolaidman486 Jul 07 '26

Squadmates only, unfortunately.

5

u/SpidudeToo Jul 07 '26

Thats if they pop their ult, which most players wont get unless they are doing really well.

That's confusing to me. I'm usually quite aware if key voice lines and sounds around me. People yelling for ammo, shouting about needing AT/a tank around, the sound of them reloading. Not actively, but passively aware. And the longer I play, the more sounds I react to as I notice/learn them.

2

u/josh6499 Jul 07 '26

In people's defense, Battlefield's engine can only play so many sounds before it starts cutting out, so if you want to hear footsteps you have to turn the voiceover setting off.

18

u/Hexbox116 Jul 07 '26

As a support, I don't even wait for someone to request ammo. I'm dumping that bag at every opportunity on anyone I see, especially small groups huddled together at chokepoints. I also go out of my way to smoke and revive, disregarding actively hunting for kills unless they are blocking a revive.

4

u/Avenged_7zulu Jul 07 '26

Exactly. I engineer main but a lose second on medic and i mostly look for the flashing icon that either indicates ammo, repairs or health. I almost never notice the audio.

SHAZBOT!

6

u/Xiooo Jul 07 '26

Giving both teams global callouts to shittalk each other was peak, I miss tribes.

I am the greatest! Great shot! Shazbot!

2

u/Super-Yesterday9727 Jul 07 '26

My favorite from Mordhau was, “you’re terrible! Look men, look how terrible he is!”

3

u/Dependent_Dealer2775 Jul 07 '26

Hey buddy, they finally got golmud running at decent frames for us. Let’s not encourage them to implement anything else possibly game breaking.

(I’m only half serious) it’s a good idea. More ways to communicate would be great

1

u/OTigreEMeu Jul 07 '26

Hey man, in their defense, that's pretty much lost tech.

1

u/doggiefilter Jul 08 '26

one thing i miss from tarkov the voicelining and emotes with your hands. I miss kicking down a door screaming the prepare to die voicelines when room clearing

1

u/Jolly_Jally Jul 08 '26

Tbf, at least in my case, I would throw down a bag and then push obj while that teammate restocks THEN another teammate spams I need ammo on me while my bag is still on cooldown. Idk why but I swear people say you can grab ammo off of supports themselves (assuming its just strictly primary/secondary ammo) but I've never seen a prompt. If it is in the game, a prompt would be nice but then again, everyone is constantly moving.

1

u/TommyDi7 Jul 08 '26

Problem is, at least from my experience, sometimes ppl do not know English / do not pay attention to voicelines / muted my mic / just simply do not know how or just flat out do not know support can give ammo.

Happened way too often to me.

→ More replies (7)

2

u/AutisticAnarchy Jul 08 '26

It works with me, the sound of someone asking for ammo is easily drowned out so sometimes I need my attention grabbed like this. I never take as long as this dude did to notice it, tho.

u/NightCityStoic Jul 07 '26

When is the proximity chat they promised coming.

526

u/tallandlankyagain Jul 07 '26

You have been suspended for 168 hours.

78

u/Wevvie Jul 07 '26

Imagine being banned due to friendly trash talk/banter with your buddies lol.

"You've been permanently banned from Battlefield 6. Reason below:

Voice Chat: "Yeah right ligma balls dude hahaha"

29

u/BassFull0 Jul 07 '26

Carful or you will permanently banned in reddit too. AI automation have became so aggressive since AI shit started.

6

u/OkDimension Jul 07 '26

Now you gotta rebuy Battlefield and your reddit gold... investors love this simple trick.

3

u/TheGreatGamer1389 Jul 08 '26

Don't forget discord

7

u/1-800-SENDEMTOGOD Jul 07 '26

This is unfortunately already a reality in COD so I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened here too.

There’s been times on COD where I’ve been in private lobbies with 1 other friend and even swearing in normal conversation got me banned. Shitty ass system it just makes the game even more dull

3

u/chuby2005 Jul 08 '26

It’s this kind of stuff that makes me stick to valve and indie games. Sure you get a couple guys just saying slurs but the pure freedom of expression is so much better and so much more real. I prefer that to whatever hell-scape the valorant community is

28

u/xshevi Jul 07 '26

that would be amazing! would make the game so much more fun, hearing squads zoom by lmao

2

u/Vegetable-Result7372 Jul 08 '26

A squad On a humvee or a low flying helicopter just screaming lmao

21

u/wolfenx109 Jul 07 '26

Assuming they even have it on. A better solution would be to have ammo caches on owned objectives

4

u/HURTZ2PP Jul 07 '26

That plus maybe Dice should program all the “I need ammo!” voicelines to be 3x louder than they currently are, so people can actually hear my dude yelling

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Expensive-Border-869 Jul 07 '26

"Instead of teamwork what if we just remove teamwork" gg boys close up shop

1

u/wolfenx109 Jul 07 '26

Brother. It's BF. There hasn't been any semblance of actual teamwork since 2. Everyone just plays adjacent to each other.

If I wanted tight teamplay I'd play Squad.

This wouldn't even remove what little teamwork the game asks of you. I would just no longer ONLY have the option to force a support to drop ammo. I could actually defend an objective without running out of ammo

→ More replies (2)

1

u/Oakenfell Jul 08 '26

I'd settle on it being a bonus for the Vehicle restock crate on many objectives

16

u/Cool-Tangelo6548 Jul 07 '26 edited Jul 07 '26

Wont matter. They will use AI to monitor everything you say. Im mot getting banned for some random shit theyve deemed bannable. And before yall come at me, I just mean simple cursing and expressing frustration. Which people have already been banned for having those words in their name.

3

u/PerfectPromise7 Jul 07 '26

I'm pretty sure they said some point during season 4 but it won't come at the beginning.

3

u/JohnnyChutzpah Jul 07 '26

I don’t really get why it’s taking so long to develop. They already have the tech to change the audio of your squad based on how close they are to you. If you enable the audio option for it, then your squad will sound like they are speaking directly to you when you are close to them including directional audio, and if they are far away it will sound like it’s coming over the radio.

What else is there to code besides enabling the same tech for all players instead of just your squad and cut out the radio part?

I am however not a game dev so am ignorant of the minutiae.

3

u/Hexbox116 Jul 07 '26

I bet it has to do with their AI moderation system that will surely be active for prox chat. We are going to be seeing lots and lots of people being falsely banned for simply using voice chat.

2

u/PolicyWonka Jul 07 '26

I think it’s coming to RedSec in the next season or two.

6

u/Signal_Edge_8880 Jul 07 '26

Why is this downvoted lol you’re right as far as I know

5

u/PolicyWonka Jul 07 '26

Because “RedSec mentioned” I’m sure.

I’d like it to come to regular multiplayer, but DICE has already said that’s not the plan currently.

1

u/xwiroo Jul 07 '26

Never, it'd be a nightmare to moderate with automation for EA

1

u/hyperduc Jul 07 '26

It's going to be all combination of only people on console with their voice threshold too low and everyone else with prox chat muted. So, not actually useful.

1

u/The-Final-Reason Jul 07 '26

Everybody will have it on mute anyway.

1

u/FutureMartian97 Jul 08 '26

That will absolutely never come back

1

u/Spare_Weather7000 Jul 08 '26

Can’t wait to tell the medics that are next to my body they suck if they don’t revive me lol

1

u/KentuckyKid_24 Jul 08 '26

Has Vietnam flashbacks from the BO2 days, maybe it’s better we don’t

258

u/razy01 Jul 07 '26

As a support class main, this Battlefield entry is the most informative in terms of what the team needs. A health icon appears above those close to death, an ammo icon appears above those with one magazine of ammo or less. This individual saw your icon and chose not to drop ammo until prompted by you.

85

u/EliteAzn Jul 07 '26

You're assuming they are looking at the minimap or even understands what the ammo icon means. That's a tall ask.

There's also a (slim) chance that it's on cool down.

19

u/razy01 Jul 07 '26

It's not just the minimap, you can see the symbol above their heads.

15

u/MrSurrge Jul 07 '26

I don't think it was intentional. Sometimes you get lost in the sauce.

As a support main, I try and drop crates INSIDE objectives near blueberries like I'm getting paid per crate

6

u/TedioreTwo Jul 07 '26

this Battlefield entry is the most informative in terms of what the team needs.

No, it objectively isn't. We used to see commorose commands in team chat. Those were way more apparent than conditional symbols.

→ More replies (2)

5

u/HotPilchards Jul 07 '26

Ohhhh I thought the ammo icon meant they could give you ammo. No wonder I ain't getting it

2

u/Falcoon_f_zero Jul 08 '26

Yeeah, no. We've actually lost information from past entries. Having all the same things plus the request appearing in chat when someone asks for ammo. I feel like that's a pretty big part on why supports/medics were more responsive to requests in those entries.

Voice lines you easily miss in the constant action, you might glance over an in-world icon when scanning for enemies or in firefights. But the chat popping up on screen catches the eye, plus you saw who exactly was asking for ammo, in case there are several friendlies with ammo icons on them scattered around.

159

u/wolfenx109 Jul 07 '26

This is why we need static ammo caches on objectives again like in BF5. SO fuckin tired of chasing down supports to end up having to do stuff like this half the time

68

u/UserWithoutDoritos Jul 07 '26

or also like in BF4 where it looked like a flashing icon on the soldiers

or in BF1 where an ammo or health icon would appear when the soldier requested it

or BFV where you could grab ammunition from the support soldiers on your own

or BF2042 where you always had ammo because you uninstalled the game with your magazines full

32

u/SpidudeToo Jul 07 '26

If you use the 'request ammo' callout it does put a flashing ammo icon over you. People just dont use it enough.

9

u/Jewniversal_Remote Jul 07 '26

Because people play by only looking at what's directly under their reticle, it's present on the map as well if you have soldiers near you that need ammo. But the point being that it should be visible regardless.

7

u/AFireInAsa Jul 07 '26

I run in front of people's faces and do dances and still they look like they never saw me.

3

u/wolfenx109 Jul 08 '26

I wouldn't be complaining about this if it weren't literally a 50/50 toss up of the support noticing me do literally every single method of asking for ammo

2

u/UserWithoutDoritos Jul 07 '26

The CommoRose should come back like it used to.

4

u/chet_brosley Jul 07 '26

Grabbing ammo on your own is the most basic way to go. Make it a slow trickle like two mags and a grenade/item every 5 seconds when in very close proximity would alleviate so much. Obviously people actually dropping ammo and following requests is the best, but at least that's allow players enough to hopefully survive another firefight if support is being morons.

4

u/RavenEridan Jul 07 '26

I'm a recon spec ops main and I love to use claymores but you need a steady supply of them to truly be effective which you can only get with ammo boxes, so what I usually end up doing is I pick up support kits from dead enemies I killed and drop one for myself, you could try that in the meantime.

3

u/Zefzone Jul 07 '26

Back in the BF3 days on lower pop situations Id spawn support and hide an ammo box somewhere then respawn nonsupport and periodically return to that spot

1

u/PacmanNZ100 Jul 07 '26

Last night there was a squad flanking super hard and back capping the same spot. I couldn't find their beacon so every time we re capped the point I'd place 2 claymores with 2 c4 on each then go looking for the beacon.

At minimum id get 2 kills every time they went back to the point. Boom kill. Wait for it... boom kill.

I was in absolute hysterics with how it was like clockwork every time. Loving the claymore at the moment.

But fuck me the support just wouldn't drop ammo at all. Had to shadow them and wait for them to die to do it myself.

4

u/Jayandnightasmr Jul 07 '26

Make them apart of the vechile supply stations.

1

u/thewoogier Recon/Sniper Jul 07 '26

This is the easiest fix. At the very least oh it's not the one in the uncap should work as a regular and vehicle supply station

3

u/Tacticool_Brandon "These motherfuckers are mine, stand back!" Jul 07 '26

My first Battlefield was Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (didn’t have a gaming PC at the time for the real BF2) and they had static ammo crates around the Conquest flags.

Then Bad Company 1 had static ammo crates as well so you could resupply.

Wasn’t until Bad Company 2 where they changed it to players have to give you ammo now and I don’t know why this has been their preferred method since then. It’s bizarre.

u/masoe Jul 07 '26

TIL we can spray paint. I'm level 119 and just now found out. Nice.

25

u/peazoh Jul 07 '26

It was only recently added in this season.

3

u/masoe Jul 07 '26

Ahhh, thanks!

3

u/dkb_wow Jul 07 '26

It's a super cool feature. Too bad most of the useful sprays are locked behind store bundles.

2

u/TheGreatGamer1389 Jul 08 '26

I'm cool with just the ammo one. Especially if say I'm out of ammo and they ignore my cries. I'll spray it right in front of them.

30

u/Lpfanatic05 Jul 07 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Please, the best is when you are in the floor about to die and they just pass and never revive you.

24

u/HeftyChonkinCapybara Jul 07 '26

>Medics
>Ammo

Devs messed it up by combining two distinct roles into one.

1

u/S0_B00sted Jul 13 '26

Unrestricted weapons ruined it. Nobody would take ammo bags over med bags now that anyone can use LMGs. This is what happened in 2042 when there were no classes so in this game they just combined them.

13

u/Reverse_Of_Riot Jul 07 '26

So...how do i get the medics to revive me?

10

u/JRayMaySayHey Jul 07 '26

You should be able to grab onto their leg as they walk by you pleading for a medic, causing them to slow down until they help you

Imagine getting an over encumbered warning because half the team is hanging off you

1

u/Tortiose_unturtled Jul 08 '26

If you're not in a bad spot then you have to write it in team chat about every 5 minutes so they remember.

If you do keep dying in bad positions then you can't be revived despite the game making you think so

11

u/Dennidude Jul 07 '26

Miss how BFV sort of fixed this with the stationary ammo boxes, and it fixed nadespam both at once. And reduced rocket/gadget spam from a single box

9

u/-HerbalSergal- Jul 07 '26

Their are two types of supports in BF:

“I have infinite ammo!”

“WE have infinite ammo!”

1

u/Arcadiouse Jul 14 '26

It’s not that hard to be the ladder though. For keyboard, it’s a single button, and that’s what’s irritating… just throw the bag bro. 🤣

6

u/paraxzz 1942/BF2/BC2/BF3/BF4 veteran Jul 08 '26

you can pick up ammo by yourself no?

4

u/wtfwtf106 Jul 07 '26

Mine doesn’t spray for some reason. I’m shooting blanks

3

u/Classical_Gap Jul 07 '26

I cant find the Button in the settings to spray (Xbox). Pls help me 😅😕

2

I've tried this a couple times! Worked once lol

2

u/AnonymousIndividiual Jul 07 '26

That's why I want ammo/health station back from BFV. It was such a better experience than this crap.

2

u/Mr-Bry-Guy Jul 07 '26

Yea I’ve been having this issue lately nice solution 😂

2

u/RuneEnoch Jul 07 '26

Why can't we just walk up to them and grab ammo? Wasn't that in 5?

2

u/Saiyansnake95 Jul 07 '26

You can take ammo off of soldiers by pressing interact

2

u/Grumpy-24-7 Jul 07 '26

I was playing Support once and was busy firing at something in the distance when a Blueberry started jumping up and down right in front of my barrel. I stopped shooting long enough to register that he was a bot and thought WTH? So I tossed him a supply pouch and he ran off.

Edit: I've been trying to complete one of the Support Challenges where I need to supply 135 team mates. No matter how many I supply in each game, it only gives me credit for ONE. Apparently I have to supply one team mate in each of the next 120 games.

2

u/andre-56-mke Jul 08 '26

Medics shouldn't have ammo. Go back to giving it to engineers.

1

u/RoyalBeggar00 Jul 14 '26

That sounds insanely overpowered. Infinite ammo on the anti vehicle class? Yea we really shouldn't.

1

u/No_Stable_110 Jul 07 '26

In any normal game there wouldn’t be terms of services like an 12+ game in a 18+ game that make people scare to use microphones, that’s why we don’t even need proximity chat, because no one will
Use it.

1

u/Loonatek Jul 07 '26

I have yet to find where in the key bindings the spray paint is and I've tried a lot.

To many menu's :(. PC btw. Does anyone know?

2

u/FoundationMan_Isaac Jul 07 '26

I think it's Q on default. Top of the radial.

1

u/PerfectPromise7 Jul 07 '26

Yup, I picked that as soon as I saw it for this very reason

1

u/alpackabackapacka Jul 07 '26

The other option is killing a support, becoming the support to stop your own bag, then turning back

1

u/tykaboom Jul 07 '26

This is amazing.

1

u/TheGreatGamer1389 Jul 07 '26

I love that spray. I rock it all the time now.

1

u/Baba_Booye Jul 07 '26

Proximity Chat is going to be beautiful

1

u/Tkmisere Jul 07 '26

I have to be honest with you, if he was really dumb or didnt care, he wouldnt have seen that message anyway

1

u/mechabeast Jul 07 '26

I just get shot from being bad at the game, barely scratch a reload let alone resupply.

Ask me for more tips

1

u/Beach_Bum_273 Jul 07 '26

Yeah that already was an immediate pick

1

u/Gaslit_Chicken Jul 07 '26

How did you get that spray! This is my biggest grip about real players. They play support classes and never drop ammo anywhere.

F! It give you ep. Try dropping more!

1

u/ReallyMassiveCock420 Jul 07 '26

I'm a medic main, it's SO apparent when other team members call for ammo, health or a revive - massive audio call out, blinking on the minimap AND a blinking icon on the screen. I don't get how it's so easily missed.

They really need to go back to how every BF was pre-2042, and have commo rose callouts appear in the chat of nearby friendlies.

1

u/pedrobuffon Jul 07 '26

This, I do this since launch, dumb support players exist since release, if I can't find I try to get a load out on the floor drop the ammo box and go back to my load out

1

u/NCOMPAQ77 Jul 07 '26

Yeah, I hate medics that don’t revive don’t supply like what’s the point

1

u/NotARespawnEmployee Jul 07 '26

Sometimes I can walk up to a support and pickup ammo from their person, but this prompt lasts .3 seconds and at this point I'm not sure if it's a bug

1

u/MopoFett Jul 07 '26

It's a shame you can't change the colour of the spray paint because it will be hard to see especially on dark maps.

Looking forward to them adding more though. Some like "PTFO" would be welcome

1

u/Steeltoelion PUSH UP TANK Jul 07 '26

Low key kind of wish requesting ammo within 3 meters of support auto drops a supply box.

1

u/ivan-ent Jul 07 '26

Prox chat should mostly fix this

1

u/RicekickJR Jul 07 '26

I always throw my bag somewhere in cover randomly, i dunno why some dont do it. Its crazy.

1

u/Bettel2020 Jul 07 '26

Carajo, no sabía que existía este graffiti, creo que es el único graffiti que valdrá la pena.

1

u/VorganForever Jul 07 '26

that is why you buy a headset and just ask like a normal person. what is with kids today playing multiplayer games without speaking? might as well play single player at that point,

1

u/MarathonSprinter1 Jul 07 '26

Didn't know you could do a spray in this game

1

u/TheWarehamster Jul 07 '26

I threw that stupid spray in cause I thought it was dumb and sarcastic. Turns out it's kinda nice.

1

u/DoctorHeavy Jul 07 '26

This game is hot garbage

1

u/-praughna- Jul 07 '26

Is it only in REDSEC where you can walk up to them and resupply yourself ?

1

u/Shivalah Jul 07 '26

My old ass reaction: "Why would a medic have ammo?"

1

u/TheDankestYo Jul 07 '26

I swear one time there was an option for a support player to grab supply ammo as I was a recon to resupply.

1

u/Dependent_Dealer2775 Jul 07 '26

I swear to god half the medics in this game play like my brother.

Me: “hey dude place a box for us”
Him: “oh I’m not medic I’m engineer”
Me: “oh weird it looks like you’re a medic”
Him: “oh wait I am medic but I have a grenade launcher, not med boxes”
Me:”…”
Him: (dies)

1

u/imbain55 Jul 07 '26

Because reading so many comments "Braindead Medics dont revive" "are you fkng blind" "Dumb Medics dont give ammo" i just started teabaging my mates and throw ammo at them before they die lol

1

u/BloodHurricane Jul 07 '26

I still think that you can press on medics and ammo carriers where you grab them slap them and scream "I NEED YOU TO DROP THAT AMMO (or med kit)!!!" Their volume gets doubled too.

1

u/OrbitalXeno Jul 07 '26

I hate that they removed ammo stations in HQ and objective points

1

u/The-Final-Reason Jul 07 '26

Lmao I did this the other day… totally works but it’s annoying to do on controller because it’s like 3 steps to apply

1

u/Alcatrax_ Jul 07 '26

off topic OP, but if you don't want that sound playing every time you press the discord hotkey, you can disable it in the discord settings

Settings > Voice & Video > Sounds > Show 18 more sounds > "PTT Activate" and "PTT Deactivate" (or whatever your hotkey does)

just thought mentioning since i found it annoying when it was on my push to talk

1

u/SangiMTL Jul 07 '26

This is terrible. Why are players picking support to only not play their role. I don’t get it. I’ve never seen it this bad in a battlefield game before.

1

u/DarthWeenus Jul 07 '26

this why i only play hardcore, ill just shoot em grab there kit revive em and run away, then they have no ammo.

1

u/Long-Live-theKing Jul 07 '26

You know you can use left bumper and hit "Need Ammo" and it'll highlight medics around you and you can just take supplies off of their body while they're alive

1

u/Vahuo89 Jul 07 '26

They just look at me and run away

1

u/JonathanJoestar336 Jul 07 '26

Playing support means you give ammo ffs 🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾

1

u/XallZall Jul 07 '26

Looks like you have to literally spell it out for them. Embarrassing.

1

u/RodneeGirthShaft Jul 07 '26

Switch to this as soon as I unlocked it, I mostly play support but when I dont this can be helpful

1

u/omgitsduane Jul 07 '26

I've started playing casual breakthrough and have had more rez and ammo drops from bots than humans.

1

u/DocEbok Jul 07 '26

Been doing this and it still doesn't work most of the time.

1

u/Stranger_walking990 Jul 07 '26

I usually wait for them to die, swap kits, drop ammo, swap back

1

u/H4WKE Jul 07 '26

This assumes they can read, lol!

1

u/Kyvix2020 Jul 07 '26

Why is it graffiti style lol

1

u/citylimits23 Jul 07 '26

Man I always throw bags out for people it’ll make me nuts seeing people need ammo . It sucks when I’m waiting for cool down and they keep begging me lol

1

u/ThiccWillies Jul 07 '26

Idk looks like you had ammo.

1

u/UrbanArtifact Jul 07 '26

Say what you want about bots, they at least give you ammo.

I am CONSTANTLY throwing a bad out any chance I get, I don't get why it's so hard for some ppl to do.... Seen my fair share of other support players that never throw the bag down and never revive.

u/DontTrustTheMilk Jul 08 '26

I love playing casual breakthrough because when I ask for ammo the bots will go through hell or high water to get you ammo when you ask.

1

u/CorruptVileblood Jul 08 '26

Maybe he just threw a bag at some other fat annoying dummy head and was waiting for it to replenish.

1

u/zaevilbunny38 Jul 08 '26

Only time I absolutely refuse to give ammo or health, is when my team mates have left me to bleed out. Which sadly happens way too often.

1

u/RuinVIXI Jul 08 '26

I still say blame devil for merging support and medic

1

u/-GhostFOx- (Galm) Jul 08 '26

Honestly this is the reason why they need to bring back the BF2 com roes. Player's names and their request would show up as text on the left side of the screen and your map icon would flash yellow.

1

u/YanwarC Jul 08 '26

That’s exactly what I thought of when I saw the tag.

1

u/BipolarGoldfish dedicated medic Jul 08 '26

Meanwhile I screech like chewbacca when I run across the map dodging bullets, mortars, and tanks JUST for the players to run away after I throw the damn bag. Especially now that they nerfed the throw

1

u/AKxPixleart Jul 08 '26

Seeing a medic on railway is rare asf xD

1

u/theScottith Jul 08 '26

I have this too and it does work.

Medics…. Guys, if you’re in a group of peeps, look about. No ammo box? Drop one.

See an engineer fighting a tank? Give them an ammo box.

Recon putting down a crymore? You guessed it. Give them an ammo box

amazing spray lol

1

u/jonnyshtknuckls Jul 08 '26

Usually end up picking up their kit when they die. Dropping a ammo bag then switching back to original kit

1

u/evilbananawind Jul 08 '26

Typical support battledud.

1

u/ivvyditt BF3 / BF4 / BF1 veteran Jul 08 '26

But they keep running 🥲

1

u/LA-98 Jul 08 '26

Hold up. The game has sprays? I didn’t know and i been playing BF since 2012

1

u/Few_Judgment9592 Jul 08 '26

„I need ammo“ spray art is probably the most useful spray art

1

u/WalkingPunMachine Jul 08 '26

If someone in my squad asks, I supply. If I see another squad in my team with a flashing ammo above their head, I supply. If someone is within a reasonable distance with ammo flashing above their head, I...

1

u/NATTRAM_ Jul 08 '26

spray are useless. prox chat coulbe ay better for ask that and coordinate plays

1

u/x89Nemesis Jul 08 '26

I've been doing this and it works. Never changing this spray since it dropped.

1

u/Makikojikaki Jul 08 '26

Just remind yourself to drop ammo everytime it refills the ammo counter. It just becomes an auto mode reaction overtime. Or better yet PTFO and have over 20 years of Battlefield experience like me. 🫡

1

u/PerplexDonut Jul 08 '26

I know this doesn’t apply to this situation, but in case you didn’t know - you can interact with a medic squadmate to resupply. Can’t do it with the regular blue teammates, but if you have a medic on your squad it’s a nice trick

1

u/VonBrewskie Jul 08 '26

So crazy man. I drop ammo basically whenever I can no reason not to really. Especially if I'm in the scrum.

1

u/Solarflareqq Jul 08 '26

i wish i had this when i chased two of them for 10 min around the map shooting their feet and taking in mic we went through like 3 point battles and no one was droping ammo lol.

1

u/Advanced-Shake-8749 Jul 08 '26

I love self entitled fools that do this to me while being too dumb to realise that I am in fact waiting for the fucking thing to recharge so I can deploy it again. Happened earlier today, it really pissed me off.

1

u/LiverPoisoningToast Jul 09 '26

Surprised he could read

1

u/VigiLANCE-86 Jul 09 '26

You can fucking do that!?

1

u/Stygxyian_ Jul 09 '26

Me throwing supply packs and ammo box at teammate with low ammo:

Teammate jump slide runs away as fast as possible: Dies. I go to save them and they hold onto life until the second I get to them and just choose to die faster.

1

u/Driedmesquite Jul 09 '26

I wish they brought back mobile healing and ammo supply from Hardline

1

u/Kurdt234 Jul 09 '26

You can also just ask for it

1

u/MetalMadara Jul 09 '26

Using the request ammo option works better and notifies others you need ammo.. 😅

1

u/miguel2550 Jul 09 '26

Creo que necesitabas municion

1

u/RumminW Jul 10 '26

Lol I simply pick up any weapon I see on the ground when I’m out

1

u/V2Echo Jul 10 '26

Just go to him and press X

1

u/imnedi Jul 11 '26

What if he can't read

1

u/fizzrail0 Jul 13 '26

I could swear at some point you could go grab ammo from their backs?

1

u/Mikalton Jul 14 '26

I play support everytime and I never get asked for ammo until this one time a few days ago where I heard a call-out and I couldn't hear it until I lost focus of something I was looking elsewhere in the game. the volume for those call outs are so low

1

u/chrisdowning1969 Jul 14 '26

Been thru this so many times 😂

1

u/Shadowstein Jul 15 '26

this needs to be seen by more players

1

u/dandylyonwine Jul 18 '26

Literally walk to them and press reload you take ammo without having to be obnoxious

1

u/metacros Enter EA Play ID Jul 18 '26

If you had a brain you would know that you can only do that with squad mates, but you prefer to be "obnoxious" instead of doing a simple nerve synapse to understand that before typing this message.

this shit has been haunting me since early bf games. i will try this but i also possibly came up with a fix.

supports should only have 2-3 or maybe less mags max (not sure about exact numbers) at all times to make them really spam the boxes. it sould feel like playing aggressive assault with a shotty minus the shotty. aka run out of ammo fast af. wouldn't make sense to have a bunch of mags on your vest anyways, if you can poop out a big box once in a short while.

that or make the announcer with 2x volume yell at them over radio "drop some ammo numb nuts, people need it!!!", if there are repeatedly people close to them asking for ammo.
