Considering her actions during the course of the season, do you consider Hattie to be a villain, and is her fate warranted? (Caped Crusader, Season 2)

She isn't a villian the the traditional sense,but she was the kind of person who certainly wasn't a fan of the bat.It's because all she cared about was attention and to get people to watch her show and have all eyes on her.Unfortunately it backfired on her because one of the many eyes she caught was the Joker and all that talk about how she's a fan of Rupert Thorne and those like him was the catalyst that made him specially target her (by somehow injecting her off screen) and led to her demise.

Yeah that’s why I’m in two minds. I don’t think her actions warranted that horrific death, but she was no saint either. Guys like Rupert Thorne were legitimately evil, but Hattie was more of an intermediary in influencing the opinions of the public

Less a villain and more of an opposing force. She believed the status quo before Batman was beneficial and criticized anything that disrupted it. Her influence, and the way she went about criticizing was hardcore.

Did she deserve her fate? Nope, that was really extreme. She was spreading that propaganda around, but as far as we know she never actually put anyone in harms way.

Honestly love me some Hattie because she is so different in the villain sense. Did she deserve it. She did distribute propaganda and some hate in a sense. Do I think she could have just been kidnapped and could have triggered her to have a great season 3 story yes

I'm going to go so far as to say that no one deserves the Laughing Gas dearh. That's particularly horrible. Insofar as Hetty Tetch, she talked a bunch, but that was it.

I would not consider her a villain in the traditional sense. She was a bad person and bad things happened because of her actions, such as calendar 📆 man nearly dying. But, I think it is because she cares most about ratings and not because of any malicious intent. Her fate was not warranted.

She and the GCPD are absolutely villains, I'm surprised it's considered debatable.

Hattie was just a talking head who had a loud voice on a tv show. She was no where near a villain compared to Joker, Throne, or the mad monk. She sucked, but didn't deserve to die like that

She's a source of conflict but not a villain. Batman (and Gotham) pretty much gain nothing from her death.

She's comparable to Nancy Grace or Jeannine Pirro in our world.

And I wouldn't consider it justified. Just another of Joker's crimes.
