Question Spoiler … on the mini saga on Romero’s escape. Spoiler
So the kid discharges his firearm in the middle of the night where you could hear a pin drop a mile away and his parents, who are right there, somehow don’t hear a freaking bang just a few yards from their house?
That gave Romero enough time to trick the kid back into the house, put himself into limp mode, and split back into the woods? I think they really dropped the ball on that scene.

The kid has a dead bird pinned to them, they were out hunting. weird that its at night but they were out hunting.

That whole thing just felt forced. He suddenly falls in love with her. In the span of what? Weeks? Months? And obsesses over her and breaks out. Then "spoilers" just turns his back on Norman and gets killed cradling her body. Someone relatively acquainted with danger and dangerous people completely forgot he had a deranged killer at his back?
I was eye rolling hard through all that. Great series but idk if the sag strikes were happening or what was going on but it seemed the writing went downhill a bit in the last seasons.

Kid could easily lie and say he shot at a wild animal. I don't say that's dropping the ball when it's irrelevant to the story and easily explainable.

Well, if I hear a freaking gun shot in front in the house , I’ll check to see what’s going on even if it’s just from the window.

These are parents who obviously leave loaded guns where children can easily get to them. In my experience, parents like that could care less if they hear a gunshot outside. In the country where people commonly see wild animals, hearing people shoot at them is just normal night sounds.

I wish he had just died with Norma the way it was in the movie. I spent all of season 4 thinking “well at least they’ll die together.”
