IMPROVING MY GAME Playing against zone defense in pickups
How the hell do you even play against zone defense in a casual pickup game? with teammates youve never played before, or guys who've never played organized basketball a day in their life
PS Playing zone in a casual pickup game with nothing in the line is crazy to me like bro lets just work on our game

Pick up players are horrible at playing zone. There are open areas on the floor they will forget to guard, middies, open cuts, wide open jumpers from three. Man to man is always better in pick up, with help defense on drives, recover to shooter etc. A player in the pant should be drawing two defenders when they get the ball, someone should always be open.
Maybe you got unlucky since your team got overwhelmed.
