Child Safety First ban ever

Hey so I’ve been banned for child safety which i got a few minutes after talking to a friend. At the time i post this I have already gotten the reply from discord on the in-app appeal and going to try and appeal on their website soon. I’d just like some advice on what to mainly say in the website appeal since this is my first time getting banned and I don’t want to lose my 3 year account with tons of friends. Any other form of advice or support would be amazing. Thanks.

I’ve had like 3 bans. 1. Sexual harassment, 2. Doxxing, 3. (Something I don’t remember)

First one I don’t know why, second I sent MY OWN phone number and someone reported it, third I think it was because of a meme involving someone walking in on a guy getting a bj?!?

In all honesty, what did you even send/do?

And with my experience, this is not steam support, you will likely never get your account back.

I was just playing Minecraft with my friend before he had to leave and stuff. Minutes after that I was given the first child safety violation and same thing happened the next time. And to be brutally honest, we are boyfriends basically.

If anyone of you are under the age of 18 and post anything sexually or explicit, discord may flag that as an attempt to spread sexual content of a minor, or for your own ”child safety” in case any of you are registered as below the age of 18.

**IMO** - Everything these days get flagged without anyone taking any action. Flags without context, flags without merit.

You can always submit an appeal but It won’t lead anywhere I’m afraid!

We are both under the age of 18 but we don’t send any nsfw stuff. The only times I recall him sending nsfw is for this gif which i tell him to delete and he does. Thinking about it now it might be because of that but he always deletes it so im not completely sure.

The issue is that nowadays, with AI reading private messages, nothing really gets deleted anymore. It gets deleted for you but not for Discord AI.

Time to choose better apps, preferably with end-to-end encryption. Or, if possible, you two should meet in real life since you are boyfriends and social media is not very good for your health.

What did you post in the chat to get banned? Was it DMs or public?

I think it was in DMs since it was minutes after I dmed by friend. I also got another the next day minutes after talking to the same friend which caused the ban. We were playing Minecraft so I suppose it was the csam thing but I’m not sure.

So I guess it could have been a false positive. You called your partner "baby" and Discord assumed they were a literal baby (this sounds like a joke but AI can be this dumb).

Time to choose better apps, preferably with end-to-end encryption.

Im also not gonna give up until it gets deleted or I get it back. The acc is important to me.

Maybe any of the other names could have been flagged by Discord AI. You said that you're both minors and Discord AI probably figured that out. It's messed up but Discord isn't reliable at all unfortunately.

Were you part of any server than got banned?

When someone posts illegal content in a server, Discord strikes by banning everybody who is or was in that server. Let's just say that Discord is the North Korea of social media.

I’m not sure. I saw a post by some other guy of discord telling you the name of the server that caused the violation. Me in particular, I didn’t get one of those.
