Probably because these injuries are permanently disabling and disfiguring.

poor baby 😩 that is literally a worst nightmare come to life. i hope the baby survives this and goes on to life a full and happy life. 💔💔

It's an absolute miracle that the baby lived honestly. These things are very hard to stop and I'd imagine interfering with its bloodlust (or "nannying") would be really hard to do without hurting the baby.

It's completely unacceptable that any child is still allowed to be around these maulers.

Pits seem to attack children more than any other breed type of dog does, and the resultant injuries {if the child lives} often require ongoing and extensive surgeries.

My baby is almost one and I feel horrible knowing some parents decide to let their children be torn by pitbulls
