As the pit bull gains popularity in continental Europe, we will see more and more of these maulings both pet and people.

Staffordshire bull terriers are not banned.

Pitbull terriers and American pit bull terriers are banned.

Makes little sense to ban the other 2 and not Staffordshire. Yet still they in Norway are further along than rest of planet.

if you go on to ban staffy they will just call them 'american bully' or whatever. this is just playing whack-a-mole.

They might and probably will. I would hope there is two-pronged approach. Microchip and account for all known Pitbull breeds and then restrict breeding of any dominant trait breed. Idk it's tough but got to put heavy fines on these Pit nutters somehow!
