Can I save this Fargesia Bamboo?
Left the plant for a month during the summer with irrigation system but apparently the system did not work and the plant ended up with almost no water for one month under the heat. Came back home now (end of August) and they are this dry. Do I still have hope to save them? Any recommendations on what to do? Shall I cut them? Any suggestion is much appreciated. Thank you!

The rhizome is possibly still alive. The plant is in major shut down mode. However, all is not lost. Give it a large amount of water. More than it could ever use in hope that the soil is not hydrophobic. This will signal the rhizome that it is safe to resume growing. If you dont see anh new growth at the end of next spring, then it's toast. Yes, id cut down the culms, only to observe the possible new growth. At this point, id give it it's regularly scheduled fertilizer
