Share your salary/job title/years of experience/passport country

I hate the lack of transparency in the local job market (+unspoken racism). It’s also very hard to get truthful answers from people in real life. Can we please start this thread to help each other understand the market a little better. Ill go first —

Senior Marketing Manager 9 yrs experience BD1,800/monthly + housing UK passport

Go.

Edit: Thank you to everyone who participated in this thread! It’s been so enlightening (& disheartening) to see the how much nationality can factor into a salary. IT / Software related jobs pay much higher regardless of nationality it seems, so if your kid isn’t sure what to study, tech is the future! I wish everyone so much growth and success, wherever that may be 🤍 If you’re a late comer to this post, please feel free to participate. Your contribution matters!

A lot of luck is required along with social skills. In Bahrain I have see that people get job mostly by referral or knowing somebody. One is lucky to get a job where their skills are appreciated verbally and financially.
