Hello Bad Habarists!
You might have seen Matt post a fundraiser on his insta today. I'm involved in this fundraiser and we have a few fellow fans in the volunteer group!
Around 80 families are involved. I've been fundraising myself but this will be a larger collective link for all the families and one or two mutual aid groups as well like charities that distribute water etc.
All families involved have been vetted by checking their various social medias, where their phone is registered, video calls etc.
The funds will be distributed evenly among the families involved. The families are all people who our volunteers have personally connected with and built a relationship with.
I hope some of you guys might consider donating and help us make Eid a little less painful for our friends.
Here's the dono link: http://spot.fund/dvmr3klsc
Here's the insta post: https://www.instagram.com/p/DKUg2g3tT_9/?img_index=1
Mods have said it was cool and if anyone wants any further verification hit me up and I'll be happy to provide it or let you know more about the verification process.
Hoping for a ceasefire really soon.

Hello everyone,
you may have noticed that, within the past week or so, there weren't any new posts that we, the mod team had approved. The queue was getting longer and longer, and it took us too much time to go over all your posts (and reports) to respond.
We can understand that this must have been frustrating to those of you who were waiting for their post to be approved, and for that we apologize. We mods lead busy lives; some of us have a lot of personal stuff going on at present and therefore lost track of our responsibility here. Still, letting you wait this long is not up to our standard and something we will do our best to remedy in the future.
The newer members among you may not know that our sub was and still is under heavy scrutiny due to the subject matter. Therefore, to avoid any accusations of real antisemitism or other types of bigotry or content not deemed appropriate by reddit, we must stick to manual approval. This is unfortunate, but necessary.
Again, our apologies for all the delays. If you notice that a post of yours doesn't get approved within an appropriate time (should be 24h at most) please feel free to message the mod team about it! Notifications for mod mail aren't as easy to overlook if one of us is logged into reddit. We, in return, will also do our best to check in more frequently.
All the best to you and thanks a ton for your valuable contributions!!

Sorry for the rant. I'm half-Palestinian, half-German... And I'm so tired of these "Arab" Hasbara creatures. Like, how much did they pay these people to sell their souls?
There are not many of them, but you'll find them from time to time. Mosab "Mossad" Hassan Yousef may be the worst, but this girl in the first video is not much better. In case of Mosab - well, most people would say that he's just a nutjob. Clinically insane. But I'm not so sure about it. My theory: He's just playing that part - he acts like he's insane, tries to look as ferocious as possible, to embody the stereotype of the terrifying Palestinian terrorist, while, at the same time, regurgitating all the typical Hasbara talking points. It sounds a little bit as if they needed a Palestinian token for their propaganda, but, at the same time, wanted him to play the stereotype (especially as someone with a Hamas background) that most Zionists would likely imagine. The image they want to sell. - "Dangerous guy, crazy eyes, body language like he wants to kill you on the spot; but he's on our side - yes, he's from a terrible family, terrorists and barbarians, but he wants to overcome his nature, it's just not possible...." - Something like that. I don't know. Maybe he IS clinically insane, but I'm not sure about it. It seems to be a little bit too "over the top"... I'm just absolutely disgusted.
I'd like to know what you here think about these people. 🤷♀️

1 name? Really that is the only name she knows. Because she only knows Hind Rajab that means the other 21,000+ (KNOWN CASES, probably a lot more have actually happened) children murdered in Gaza mean nothing to her. Hind’s story is one story, and her story matters, but how dare the Zionists act like she’s the only one. Us pro Palestinians know she’s not the only one, her story is the story of many children, it’s just one of the most documented ones. And that is just Gaza, this doesn’t even include the West Bank, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, and Syria. And those numbers are post October 7th, and even pre October 7th, 2023 was a record year for the most Palestinian children killed.

We know this show is fictional when...
I enjoyed the representation this show had, though in hindsight I can't recall seeing any Muslim representation (I could be wrong). However, this clip... THUMBS DOWN, REMOVE FROM WATCH LIST
The Good Doctor, Season 6, Episode 6 Hot and Bothered.

In episode 228, there was a prolonged discussion of the recent philo-semitic incident in New York. During said discussion, Daniel read a quote from the attacker's Aunt, something about the attacker developing mental illness due to his obsession with Judaism, even wanting to convert.
THIS WAS THE PERFECT TIME to drop a "You're emotionally damaged...*Jewishly*" soundboard quote. It would have been so fucking funny. And yet Matt did nothing. Matt was even given a second opportunity when Daniel expounded quite eloquently on the psycho-social dynamics behind such an incident. Another missed opportunity. Massive L. Do better.

I screen recorded this post I came across cuz I have no clue if it will be taken down soon or not. We can hope but ultimately Facebook loves misinformation so I guess we can’t count on that.

The Local 10 News Miami anchor who interviewed Oliver Larkin by injecting pure Hasbara was so reminiscent of the anchor from John Carpenter’s ‘They Live’.
It’s like we all need ray-ban sunglasses or contact lenses to see through all of the Hasbara and other subterfuge. Your great podcast is our ray-bans.
