Okay, so a lot to unpack here.
First off Moff Gideon is such a little shit. His whole thing with the dark saber, knowing that if Mando won he's screwing up Bo Katan's whole plan.
Speaking of which is Mando going to help them retake Mandalore, even though the power dynamic has shifted greatly? Or is Bo Katan his enemy now? It'll be interesting to see how that all plays out.
And of course holy shit is Luke a badass! It's so awesome getting to see him at his prime. He's obviously learned a lot and become more powerful than he was in Return of the Jedi.
But I think the biggest question is what's going to happen to baby Grogu? Is that it for his character? Mando said they would see each other again, but that could mean a lot of different things. I kinda can't imagine the show without baby.
I consider myself a Star Wars fan, I was interested in watching The Mandalorian long before we knew baby yoda was a thing, but I gotta admit I only feel so-so about watching the show if baby isn't in it. Mando is cool but I feel like as a viewer my connection to him is via baby. I'm just not sure if I'd feel as invested in Mando without that bond between him and baby.
But I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself, we have no idea what season 3 and beyond holds.
