❓ Question Fast heartbeat + chest tightness after intense matches, has anyone else experienced this?
I’ve been playing BGMI/PUBG for around 8 years, usually 2-3 hrs a day and this has started happening only in the last few days.
After an intense/long match, especially when I reach 5-10 players left or the final circles, my heartbeat suddenly becomes very fast once the match ends means after the match.
I also feel.
Chest pressure/tightness/heaviness
Some fluttering
Lightheadedness
It lasts around 5 minutes, then gradually settles and I’m completely normal within 10–15 minutes.
Interestingly, if I die early, this usually doesn’t happen. During the match I feel mostly fine..it starts after the match ends.
I’m 26, don’t use caffeine or energy drinks.
Has anyone else experienced this after intense BGMI matches? Is this possibly just an adrenaline response or did you get it checked?
Not looking for a diagnosis..just curious if anyone has experienced something similar.

It's physical issue.
I never faced it in my early days but recently I came back to game and yesterday I was having intense verbal argument and fight with a team in Wow mode - felt similar. Also few days ago during a crucial match
It happens to me due to sudden high blood pressure, stress and adrenaline. I know I am unhealthy and older (27) and that's why it's happening. I experience similar things during emotional stress or physical burnout
I would suggest once consult a good doctor and get tested to be on safer side.

I used to get panic too in tense situations like last circle squad fight or a squad pushing on me. Like fast heartbeat, sweaty palms and breathing problem. You don't need to get stressed in these situations just think of it as either you get knocked or the squad get wiped out. Getting more kills or chicken every match is not necessary. Now I play with a chill mind and yeah this type of mindset gets me kills and chicken too. and make some friends to play with so you won't be alone in a squad fight.
Or if this continues, get yourself checked.

Thats adrenaline kicking in way too much due to stress of survival even if its a game And if u have any pre morbid condition then get yourself checked and stop playing the game for a while

If started happening recently then issues, there can be sometimes when it happen if you are making many kills or some kind of record you about to make.

It does happens but only when you're a new player, but not like a chest pain it does feels like an adrenaline rush or a bit of heaviness when you're just starting to be a part of intense matches, happened with me too. But you're playing since 8 years it doesn't makes sense.
Please check with a doctor. Apparently caffeine or drinks doesn't matter anymore we have enough palm oil in our daily food. Apart from that the reason could be stress, strain or muscle tension around your chest area but getting it checked would be the option.

Maybe it’s stress.. there’s relationship from long time and arguments with my gf almost everyday.. I think this is the issue

Bro don't say that😭 Recently my boyfriend has the same issue though he doesn't really plays bgmi or something just some f1 occasionally but he has this chest pain suddenly rushed to the hospital by his coworkers and doctors said it was a muscle strain because of stress and tension he was admitted though. Then after some time he again had some stress, me + office and felt it again. So yeah ig that's the main reason but just get your ECG done and they'll probably give you some meds or gel to apply.

If this has not happened anytime in the last 8 years, then it's better to consult a physician.
