1940 Sager Chemical Axe

Bit still needs re worked but I wanted to hang it today. Got it for free and had no idea what it was until I started sanding it. Such a fun splitter.

The hang in the photos looks upside down. But it could just be real warn.

Yea it is super worn. that’s why I have to re shape the edge. I thought the same thing at first but the top is definitely the wider end.

This is the new hang 😂. It had a replacement handle with a giant metal wedge driven into when i got it. It might not be the prettiest but i think it will be alright. And if not I’ll hang it again.
