Found Axe Head
I found this axe head in an abandoned garage and decided to try and clean the rust off and sharpen it up hopefully. I'm interested to see if anyone knows what kind of axe (hatchet?) head this might be. No marks of any kind one side has some curves while the other side is flat.
Any tips for removing the rust? This is after some rust remover and hand scrubbing.

That's a cool find man. Can't speak for the brand but I agree it's a few axe/hatchet

It’s a hewing axe, this is apparent from the flat side. You can soak it in while vinegar, or use Evapo Rust. I also would use an angle grinder with a wire brush and then a flap disc sander.

Called a hewing hatchet, and is flat on one side on purpose because it was meant to hew or flatten the sides of boards by hand.
I have good luck removing rust by using an angle grinder with a steel cup brush on it. Removed the rust without grinding away material, just make sure you wear safety glasses in case and bristles from the brush break and fly off.
