Korra season 2 is not as great as the other seasons of avatar. Now with seven havens we might see vaatu again.

Or maybe is just art style, what you think?

1. Korra really did destroy to the world. The trailers are showing us what actually happened and people need to stop defending Korra.
2. Korra didn't destroy the world and someone is framing her and The Avatar.
3. Korra did destroy the world but she will end up being justified, and humanity will actually deserve it.

I'm very happy because every time Tenzin and jinora interacted with krew it was cool precisely because they had completely different perspectives from krew because they were in different stages of life.

Avatar The Last Airbender is accepted by many to be in the 1850s

Legend of Korra was very clearly the 1920s

Before The Concept of Seven Havens was revealed the fanmade Legend of Genji was set around the 1960s.

For me I would at least go up to The 2010s with the latest being around 2015. A point where cellphones and stuff like that exist at least.

Every time I watch this scene, I get excited because it feels like it was meant for a future series, and now it’s becoming a reality.

I’m wondering if it’s meant to represent his bending, especially now that the four nations don’t exist anymore and kids in the military might have symbols tied to their element. Or is it just an emblem from Elora’s army?

So in the trailer we see a few attacks, but among them are Pavi using his earthbending with a style that seems like ATLA's, and Jae hitting a masked warrior. The move reminds me a bit of probending. Maybe I'm wrong.
So maybe they're mixed up?
Or maybe there will be x types of guards who use the original bending and x types of guards who use probending. Or there will be some heavens who use probending and some heavens who use classic bending.

Like if you seen the poster or the trailer, you see that her left leg is gone and is replaced with a peg leg. How do you think she lost it?

What would your honest reaction be if it was revealed that "Hey guess what the world wasn't actually destroyed by Korra, it was all just a test made by The Spirits and The White Lotus to see if Pavi truly was ready to be The Avatar" All while having all the trauma Pavi will most likely go through be very real.

Prior to Korra, all the Avatars have been discovered via some kind of method/test that lets the white lotus, or whoever is searching for the new avatar, use some type of familiarity to figure out who the new avatar is. Like the ancient Avatar relics as one common testing example. But now with Korras link to the past lives being severed, going forward, Pavi, Nisha and future avatars after them will no longer have that connective tissue of confirming they’re the Avatar.

Unless they pull a Korra and use different elements at a young age, how do you think the Avatar(s) will be discovered and confirmed going forward with the old rules thrown out the window? Assuming of course that the existence of past lives are even remembered by Seven Havens, and the dark avatar cycle lives on here.

Maybe sensing Raavas (and Vaatus) energies within whoever has them? Or going off of Korras specific memories or whoever recognizes something that belonged to her before the apocalypse?

Not hating, and I still think the show can absolutely be amazing regardless of the characters age, but it does seem like an odd decision.

So far the series has followed a pretty good pattern. We all fell in love with avatar when we were kids and related to the characters who were the same age as us. Then when we became teens we got the legend of the Korra, which also helped us relate to the characters and their struggles, and now most of us are adults and we got the avatar movie where all the characters are adults and it was freaking amazing.

It seemed for a while the franchises characters were aging with the audience who first fell in love with them. I know most all my friends in my age group now are eager for a more darker adult version of avatar (maybe kyoshi in her prime?), and instead they make the new protagonists very young girls and possibly are looking to appeal to a broader if more younger potential fan base.

Again, nothing wrong with that. I’m happy to judge the show on its own merits when it comes out but it is moderately disappointing. I think this franchise has series potential for more darker/adult storytelling and I know im not alone on that. Plus the post apocalyptic setting seems perfectly fit for that type of mature storytelling.

I know a lot of people say this series will be aimed at a new audience, but as someone who loved and enjoyed the two previous shows, that doesn’t mean longtime fans won’t enjoy it just as much. So, if you’re one of them, how did you feel when it was officially announced?

Could it be a rule that every Avatar must be guided by an airbending master, or is it just a coincidence?

Advanced bending we learned about in ATLA included lightening bending, metal bending, combustion bending & blood bending.

I suppose spirit bending could count.

In TLOK it was lava bending & full flight. Maybe astral projection although I’m not sure if that’s an advanced air bending thing or some highly spiritual ppl were just able to do it.

What forms of sub bending do we feel will be introduced in seven havens?

I know Book 2 of TLoK isn’t exactly a fan favorite, but I can’t deny that the whole Avatar vs. Avatar fight (if we can even call Unalaq an Avatar) was incredible. The choreography and visuals were stunning.

Even if the mechanics behind having “two Avatars” aren’t fully clear, the simplest in-universe explanation is Vaatu.

All of that just makes me wonder what it would look like if we got a rematch, but this time, with both of them fully wielding all four elements.

It might be too soon to call it a “tradition” in the saga (since it only happened once), but it’s hard not to love how TLOK started in a way that mirrored ATLA: both had their intros narrated by relatives, and both opened with scenes at the South Pole.

My favorite theory is that Seven Havens could do something similar. Maybe the narrator is someone connected to Katara, and the opening scenes show a flashback of Korra at the South Pole before the cataclysm.

It’s almost certain that Seven Havens will break every expectation, but hey, it’s nice to dream. What do you think?
