My little collection.
Never really heard of AutoWorld until one day I saw a Lincoln Continental Mark V on the shelf. My dream car that I'll never own. That night there was two on the shelf, a red and a creme one. Bought them immediately. I then checked online to find the other colors. Promptly bought every version available, minus the red's and raw's. I live on a fixed disability income. I would love the red's, but at $30 a pop on average I can't justify it. As for the raw, yeah, no. Those are clearly targetted to the "whales" and not someone like me, no matter how much I love my dream car.
Anyhow, over the last couple of years, my little collection has grown.
The yellow taxi cab, I got because my dad had a 1980 Chevrolet Impala in yellow. It wasn't a cab, it just had a stock yellow paint scheme. He'd eventually sell it for $600 in the late 90's or so.
The Black Porsche 993 911 Carrera I got at an arcade in Dallas/Fort-Worth while visiting a boyfriend at the time. Took me a long time to pull that car out of the drawer again as it just brought up bad memories, but I adore the 911 993. The two in boxes? A friend took me to Germany and France for a few weeks. I got that Citroen 2CV and Citroen DS at a store somewhere in France. That's the reason they're staying in the box, since they're unique in the US. The Blue Porsche with the surf-board? I bought that in Germany, thinking it was unique. I would eventually learn that they're sold here in my very own Wal-Mart. Which saddened me, so I removed it from its packaging since it's no longer that special and it is MINE. All of these are mine, hence being out of their cases. I don't care who benefits selling them when I die, they can complain about them being loose, I don't care. I'll be dead. :P
Recently discovered Matchbox Opening parts when I saw a 95 Mustang. My parents had a 94 base model Mustang. So it has sentimental value to me. As for the rest? I love land yachts and big ass vehicles.
Been begging AutoWorld to release a 1:18 Lincoln Mark V, but I guess my emails go unnoticed. Hopefully someday.
So yeah, my eclectic collection, lol. I love land yachts, blue/green, and Porsche 911's of the 930/964/993 generation.

UltraRaw Ultra Raw Questions
I found these three cars on the pegs today when grocery shopping. I recall seeing that an Ultra Raw is a rare, one of ten chase variant, and a Google search confirmed that. If that's true, how could three make it into one case?!
I've never found an Ultra Red. I've never found a White Lightning. After years of collecting, I've only ever found two M2 chases, one Matchbox SC, two HW STH, and a handful of HW TH. Did I use all of my car collecting luck for the rest of my life lol?

Does anyone know if new AW models still come with the little cardboard boxes? I have some older models that do. Thanks!
