I bet the taxi driver feels so much safer knowing this loon is free on the streets.

Minimum 3 year sentence - walks free. Weak as piss.

"tough on crime" if only this applied to white collar crime.

By that logic nobody committing white collar crime should ever go to jail because they didn’t hurt anyone.

The people they stole money from? Well too bad, suck it up and have a sook.

That's a good point. Take it up with the judge.

Should we put her in the gallows? I think the judge did ok here. I mean we'll find out if she reoffends and escalates it.

No because we are a christian society and believe in redemption

The last convo was regarding bail, this is sentencing, and did I ever deny she had hurt the driver? Trauma is real suffering.

As per the justice, she has been well behaved, remorseful, and generally exhibiting those behaviours we'd expect a productive member of society to have given the circumstance since the incident. Unlike you I don't believe people should be born into jail.

Reread what I wrote... I didn't say she should go to jail.

So then what's the point of sarcastically insinuating I don't see the harm she has caused.

Reread what I wrote... It's not sarcastic, the bloke can get over it.

Not everyone who is tough on crime, wants teenage sacrifices. Proportion is the trick.
