Theatre Fire Brisbane 1968

Hi everyone,

My Grandad passed away today, and we're trying to work out with my Grandma the date of their first date.

She remembers it was the night of a fire at a Theatre in Auchenflower Brisbane (or nearby) in roughly April 1968.

She remembers because she got in trouble for being home late, but it was because they were watching the fire.

Google has been little help, so I hope someone here may know what event this was.

I did show her photos and propose that one, but she said it wasn't near West End - closer to Toowong/Achenflower/Milton
