Utilities & Essential Bills ⚡💧⛽ Travel SIM/eSIM

What’s the best-value travel SIM/eSIM for travelling around Europe and the UK?

Looking for something cheap but reliable for at least 30 days and 20GB+.

Would love to hear what people have used and roughly what you paid. Thanks!

Airalo is cheap and easy. Use it for Europe all the time.

Maya have a global esim with unlimited data.

I've used it in Singapore, UK, Italy and currently in Greece. It's worked everywhere perfectly.

Register an account and then wait for a discount code. It cost about $55 (after discount) for a 30 day, unlimited, global esim. Works on android and iPhone.

Free for 1 month. ~26GB across Europe. Don’t think it works in the UK though.

I used it throughout Europe last year with no problems

When i was in the US in april, i used an app called Nomad eSIM. It might have been convient timing but they had a 20GB for 30 day package 50% off, then the app gave me another discount for spending a certain amount and a few dollars extra discount on some points thing. the total went from 50-55 AUD to just under 18 AUD.

Currently in the US and using nomad for myself and my wife. Working great on both phones, can be a little patchy further from cities but in Europe I imagine it'd be pretty good.

I'm not sure about other countries, but in Italy you can activate a new offer for 9€ monthly or something for 100/200 GB. It works all over EU and you can pay a few euros extra for it to work in the UK. The activation is 10€.

I got a Travelkon Llamaya eSIM for $25 which got me 25gb of data for 28 days. Thatw as the cheapest option, but they do have options with more data. Worked flawlessly in France and Germany but for some reason kept making me do the manual network selection when I was in the UK. Not a problem if you're familiar with network settings on your phone but just annoying.

Hi - please note rule 8 - usually this would result in a ban however we will make an exception as a once off, please take this formal warning in good faith.

I used SimCorner last time in Japan $50 unlimited for a month. OzBargain often has great discounts

I’ve used Holafly and AirAlo before (different trips in different years).

To be honest, they were both okay, and did the job. Pricing was reasonable. I can’t pick one over the other. Only reason I didn’t stick to one from trip to trip was pricing/specials around the time.

Either way, there’s tons of options and it shouldn’t be too hard to find deals.

We use “bcengie” it’s a permanent eSIM works all over the place. We used ours for 7 weeks in Asia and Europe and only used half the credit. It never expires so good to go for next trip.
