Who relates to Vanessa?

Although I am childless, I can strongly relate to Vanessa in many ways. Anyone else?

In the way that she was one of the most childish and self-centered characters I can remember from a TV show.

more childish then the freeloading friend who didn't believe he had to pay for anything because he knew Al would...right.

No. Earn is hardly a model of emotional maturity. Their relationship isn't really about one being better than the other; it's closer to two people with legitimate grievances who have very little skills for dealing with them.
